The hotel was really stylish and had a luxurious feel to it. The location was ideal and the staff were plrasant and friendly. Welcoming, helpful and efficient staff.Very interesting and stylish decor and furnishings.Everything! I come to Göteborg just to stay at this hotel. It´s my third time... First Hotel Avalon is as central as you can get. We are situated in the heart of Gothenburg. Everything is close at hand ranging from shopping and entertainment to culinary and cultural delights. The atmosphere at Avalon is centred on a relaxed, elegant interior that allows you to be yourself. Our choices strengthen that feeling and reflect our soul. We combine clean design, art and architecture in a personalised way. The outdoor pool on the roof, boasting a big terrace and a wonderful view over the city, is opened for all guests during the summer season (May - September) from 12:00 until 18:00 (subject to availability). Deep down you’ve probably always wanted to stay at First Hotel Avalon. It’s just that we didn’t exist before.

Important information to guests

Guests under the age of 20 can only check in if travelling as part of a family. For non-refundable rates, Avalon Hotel requires that the credit card used when booking is presented upon arrival. The rooftop pool and terrace are closed from 1 October until 30 April. The pool is open from 12.00-18.00 between May and September. Please note that Avalon Hotel does not accept cash payments.

Room information details

First Hotel Avalon has a personalised and meticulously decorated interior. The rooms are spacious and well planned. All rooms have white washed oak or travertine stone flooring. We know that our guests prefer different types of pillows so we provide four different pillows for each bed. All rooms offer wireless internet free of charge which make it easier to be able to work. Each room contains a 26-inch LCD TV (compatible with laptops, cameras and MP3 players), a DVD player and 21 free view TV channels.
