Clean Room. Friendly staff. Location. Free transfer from/to Barajas airport (you arrive and call by phone and in minutes they pick up to the terminal you inform. Just wait to the van at the bus station. The van clear says Tach Hote. Good drivers) Close to many restaurants. Close to metro station to Madrid. Safe in room. The breakfast is good to prepare to catch your flight. I will book again this hotel to wait for my flights in the future.
all reviews » The hotel is very near the airport, so if you're flying early the next day (as I was), it's very convenient. The hotel is stylishly designed, and includes a nice interior bar/restaurant as well as outside terrace and paddleball court. The hotel has its own underground parking deck, but I ended up parking on the street next to the hotel for free. The staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful. Close to the airport so great for overnight stopovers like us. Free airport shuttle bus. Rooms are comfy and clean. Free coffee and breakfast snacks in the morning while waiting for the shuttle bus. Free use of PC and printer so we could check in and print our boarding passes the night before. Quiet area but a couple of pubs, cafes restaurants near by so not completely out of the way. Shuttle from the Airport for call and free of charge. Perfect. Location. 7Min to next Metro Barajas and than 2 stops to ifema. For us it was excellent. Rooms: clean and comfortable with small fridge. Some of them have balcony. Photos are real. Hotel is clear, new, staff is helpful. Bed was comfortable and very nice bathroom. Cleaning and new towels every day. a) I watched as the front desk staff spent 15 minutes helping two lost tourists who had wandered in, find their way and find transport to the correct hotel. B) I noticed my shower head was loose, but before I could report it, apparently housekeeping had reported it and it was repaired. Examples of very good staff. I stayed there only one night for airport transit. The room was very clean and comfortable. The quality of bedding and bath towels were good. Although the breakfast was not included, the hotel prepared simple self service coffee and few pastries for the customers, who have early departure. A nice gesture. They have a free shuttle to the airport starting at 4 am that is pretty convenient and they also offer you a free petit dejeuner before you take the shuttle. They have the best value/price ratio and food prices at the cafeteria are cheap. Its two miles from Barajasa Airport. Definetly I will return. One of those really excellent business class hotels smart enough to go after the weekend trade. Stayed here as last stop in Spain tour because it was close to airport. Shuttle to airport was great, runs every hour except 1-4 a.m. Perfect end to a perfect trip to Spain location is perfect plenty of local restaurants, you can check in as early as 1.30pm hotel staff are very friendly and helpfull, took the airport shuttle to the airport next day for an early flight which was great. Airport transfer bus arrived in 10 minutes the hotel was modern and very clean with pleasant staff also return bus to airport also on time would recommend this to anyone wishing to stop overnight near the airport. This hotel was a ten minute ride from terminal1 and has a FREE shuttle that leaves every hour. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Style of hotel. The illumination to find the room is poor (just a little detail). I don't think the hotel had self-service laundry facilities (hotel staff please correct me if I'm wrong) - this is something I wish more hotels had. The neighborhood around the hotel can be a bit sketchy. The hotel charges extra for Wi-Fi, parking, paddleball, and use of a scale to weigh your bag. Although arguably, charging for these separately may allow a lower room rate, being surprised with those charges can be annoying. It is a little dark down the corridors I could just about make out my room number!!!!. Breakfast - no cheese, no ham or salami, vegetables. Coffea and tea was perfect. Wi-Fi - I guess that in case of quite high price of room, this should be free of charge. 6 EUR/24hours is really too high. In my room was poor signal but I got cable in reception so it was good. Spanish breakfast is almost everywhere lame, the Tach is no exception. At least its cheap. The overall deco is uncomfortably dark to me. The room has black furniture, curtain, carpet and bedspread. The lighting in the hall way is very dim. Having the dark color, almost black, for the wall and carpet, the hallway feels like a Halloween scene. As many others have commented, internet is medicocre. Each user has to have his/own code and connection/speed not great. On the positive side, I was not charged for it. I liked the overall design of the hotel, but I was taken aback by the darkness of the hallways. I have never been in a hotel hallway that was so dim. The restaurant/kitchen is adequate but limited. Again, the staff is pleasant and helplful; the menu is limited. The place is modern and the rooms are bright, but the hallways are dark. Nothing. Hallway lighting was terrible - dark and gloomy. But once inside the room was nice. Also - door locks and key card system need to be replaced - we had to have multiple cards made to get in and out of the room - and we were there for less than 18 hours. The bar/ restaurant had a limited menu with so-so food and so-so service. The bed was very firm and the pillows were small. As a base for Madrid visit there are closer hotels to the centre.. This hotel is in a suburb, and is a train ride into centre ,train fare is very reasonable about 2.5 euros. Breakfast too basic and limited for a 4 star Hotel. Breakfast pretty basic. Starting to cut back services. No lunch menu now. Finding food at normal times for any foreigner in Spain is a challenge. So, its good to have a hotel that solves the problem, now the Tach does not. A pity that we couldn't have lunch in the restaurant. Not a thing. We had a very nice experience at this hotel. nothing,. Had no real dislikes or concerns on this, an overnight stay for convenience to airport and a flight out the next day. Would have liked a coffee maker in room but not a big problem just my personal taste as a big coffee drinker but would not stop me staying at the hotel again. I think that the wifi should be free, for Gods sake!! And 6 euros/ day is way too much!. Nothing it was great. Maybe someone will find it unconvenient that it takes 30-40 minutes to go to the city center. i was surprised that I had to pay for wifi. the staff at the front desk can improve in regards to customer service (start by smiling). Nothing, I was pleased with the short stay I had. The bar opening hours are a bit restrictive. Halls and room were a bit dark. Very noisy. You hear the planes. And the doors and walls are too thing - you hear what the neighbor is doing. And the bangs of the doors in the corridor wake you up. nothing. The mobile given to us for the transfer bus didn't work. It was a different number to the one on the board at the airport but our phone just kept cutting out although we were charged for the calls. I asked a Spanish lady to help, she spoke to the hotel and a bus arrived about 10 minutes later. Altogether we waited an hour in the cold, not very happy!. Menu at bar/ restaurant could be improved...too American and costly.
