It was close to the metro and the IFEMA Convention Center where I was attending a meeting. The staff were friendly and the price very good compared to other options available in Madrid. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who has similar requirements as I did. Excellent and most helpful staff at all levels. They arranged our early morning call and taxi as soon as we said we needed to be at the Barajas Airport for 6.30a.m. and the call and taxi were both on time.
all reviews » The receptionist is very helpful, courteous and speaks english. We liked the location within the old town of Barajas though it was hard for the taxi driver to find. It was an excellent facility and excellent value. The attendant was pleasant and helpful.Close to restaurants, bus stop, nice little town. Hotel was clean, room was nice. it was close to the airport and has very reasonable priced secure parking. Very close to the airport, but very quiet. Comfortable room and service, good foods. Free wifi and proximity to airport. We stayed there one night b/c it was close to the airport and we had early flights. the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful with ordering food, calling a taxi, etc. room was clean and comfortable. exactly what we needed as far as a place to just crash before an early flight.It was convenient for transport and restaurants. Convenient location. excellent breakfast feast.The beautiful area of the Pueblo. convenience ,enjoyed the area. 10 min distance from airport. handy for airport. Close to airport. Room very small. It was actually quite a good looking hotel. Clear and modern entrance,elevator and rooms also ok. Dont stay there! Spend extra 10 Euros and stay in a nice Hotel. The next recpetionist does not understand english and i find it difficult to make requests. My room was on 1st floor near to lobby. It got very loud at night, when guests were talking to receiptionist etc. It's noisy if you're on the 1st floor.we knew there was no food, but thought there might be coffee / tea making facility. it was quite difficult to find. need the public transportation to the center of the city and the railway station. No trash bin, no pen and paper. Staff can't speak english. room was pretty small...i doubt all rooms were that small though.Hotel wordt gepreseneerd als airporthotel, het ligt echter nog ruim 10minuten rijden er vandaan. Taxirit hotel-airport was duurder dan centrumMadrid-airport. Would like to have coffee/tea facilities in the room. Tried to find the Cafe advertised in the hotel but went to the restaurant part to be told it was closed. having a chance to book an airport transfer through the hotel would be good - we were ripped off by having to pay 45 Euros for our taxi from the airport!!!. Would have prefered a non smoking room. we could not get the air con to work. I didn't like two things. First when booking on line, there was advertising for continental breakfast and coffee in the morning, I was told, there isn't any. Second when I ordered a taxi for 12PM and the taxi was there at 11AM, but it could have been a mistake or missunderstanding. Over all it was OK. Ease of access. no english speaking personnel. It was almost impossible getting there although we had an impressionthat it was close to the airport (so even get there by foot ?).Taxi's atBarajas airport (at several locations) refuse to take you there ! Underpressure we got there finally after beeing sent to different parts ofthe airport by the information desks of Barajas airport itself. Somepoint to a not existing shuttle bus.
