This hotel was perfectly located just minutes walk from Atocha train station. It had many restaurants beside and near it, as well as a small supermarket. It was only three minutes walk to metro. The room was spacious enough, with a large bathroom. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've had out of the dozens of places we've stayed on our past two months travels. Free wifi worked well.
all reviews » Airconditioned room was a dream. Staff were very friendly and room had excellent decor. Although I had a shared bathroom my room also had a sink and large mirror in it which was very useful. Location is great - right opposite Sofia museum and less then 5 min walk to hop-on-hop-off madrid city bus tours. Also next to 'low cost bar' with 1 euro drinks and tapas - great if you're on a budget. Hostel is very well located, near the train station and within walking distance from major attraction in the downtown area. Also close to Prado Museum. People at the reception were friendly. Room with bathroom inside was quite comfortable. Location, cleanness, nice looking room, felt very secure, good Wi- Fi signal all the time. The stuff barely speaks any English so having a device with google translate is a great help if you do not speak Spanish. I really liked the location. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. It is a bit noisy because the rooms are not well isolated so you hear everything your neighbors do. Good quality-location-prize relation. Personal was very friendly and even permitted us to use their printer to print tickets. Location is great especially for those who travels: 5 minutes to Atocha and to aerobus. The common toilet was clean. in front of the railway station location is good our suitcases were stored till evening of the day when we were leaving very clean personnel very friendly and helpful. Location, it is close to Atocha station, it is easy to reach it from the airport. Perfect location - near train and bus station, museums and retiro parc. The staff were very limited in their English, and though they were very kind and helpful, it was difficult to communicate. We found this to be true with most Spanish people, so I recommend bringing a translating device or book. The bed was quite hard/uncomfortable (but the pillow was amazing!). Persons at the reception were not very acquainted with the city and were not able to give us certain information. A tiny shower, but works fine once you squeeze into it. The room had the smell of smoking but we were there for a night so it was not so important to us. difficult to find, no one knows the street. bathroom too small as well as the tv set. El tamaño de la ducha es muy pequeño. The bathroom is too small. Overpriced. Reception desk couldn't speak any English. no iron, no fan, a bit cramped. Anithing. Staff doesn't speak English at all and it's really hard to understand Spanish. Staff does not speak english, you have to know a bit of spanish. Loud in the night (restaurants below the window). Terrible. I have to change to anothe hotel immediately even I have already paid the room rate.
