Very secure, friendly and helpful staff, very clean. We chose San Blas because of its location near Atocha station. Within easy reach of all main attractions. We would stay here again. I think people need to remind themselves how much they pay before writing reviews. If you want four star then you will pay a lot more. We think, clean, safe, friendly and value for money. Hostal San Blas was a good surprise for us. The staff helped us in a lot of things and was always helpful, mainly Ema. The location is excellent, we did all we wanted without even the metro.
all reviews » Perfect location (city centre, next to the metro station, there are cheap supermarkets in the neighbourhood), silent rooms, well english speaking staff, no curfew. Located near Atocha train station and Reina Sofia, walking distance from Sol and city centre, clean, cosy, cheap, everything you need is there. Great price, location and friendly staff. Very helpful that you could leave your bags on the day of checking out and collect later in the day. Near to Atocha train station, 24-hour front desk, clear room with good price, nice stay!. It's a hostal with very small rooms(5-6 square meters) and very thin walls or very loud neighbours. The bed is very small also - I don't think it's suitable for noncouple. I don't believe the HOSTAL should have 3star hotel sign on its page. If you are looking for hotel, you shouldn't stay there. Couldn't get wifi in our room. Slightly dirty, but nothing alarming. small room. shower overflowed easily. had to hold the shower head in my hand while taking a shower. Very old furniture. I couldn't find wall sockets to charge my phone. The Place is way too poor for the Price. The internet didn´t work. Very dirty room and toilet Noisy Uncomfortable bad Tiny room.
