What people say
The owners were very friendly and helpfull, the room very comfortable
and nicely decorated and the breakfast was great. It was a very good
location in the heart of the city and don't take any notice of guide
books that tell you that this is an area to be avoided. It was very nice
and safe both during the day and late evening. Guide books do not always
update their information and I have been told that 7 years ago this area
was not nice. Now it has 4 star hotels in the street. Like in all big

Comfortable and economical and clean.
Very quite for such a location.
Esteban was terrific.
Very friendly and helpful staff speaking good English. Good location in the city center, just 3 min from Gran Via metro station. Clean room and bathroom, though the latter is tiny. Decent continental breakfast, which is rare in hostels.
A little bit noisy area.
(1) Extremely small bathroom
(2) Very noisy location - I could not sleep till 8 a.m. There was an awful door in the neighbour building, which was being closed every ten minutes making a tremendous bang
(3) Noisy young people drinking, smoking and speaking loudly.
very noisy outside, it was absolutely impossible to sleep on friday night!.
None.
The silly wardrobe taking up to much space in such a small room, just a couple of hooks will do.
Quite noisy all night. Lots of young people partying in the street until 6 am.
Noise is awful. The street is a favourite meeting place for all sorts of youths who drink, shout and enjoy themselves all night. Even with closed windows you will be able to sleep only being absolutely exhausted or dead drunk or smth.
room is very small,.
