location. not very much. Location. The position of the hotel in Madrid. space of room, terrace. Excellent central location. service and breakfast. it was close to the centre of the city. the area was very poor. Not being able to have a drink in the bar in the evening. quite shabby, seems to have same furniture as 40 years ago.

By Metro (from Madrid Barajas International Airport):
Take the pink line (line 8) on Madrid’s Metro system to the final station Nuevos Ministerios. Then take the dark blue line (line 10) to Tribuna. Then take the light blue Metro line (line 1) one stop to Gran Via.

Is about 50 metres from Gran Via Metro station, which is on the the light blue Metro line (line 1) and the green Metro line (line 5).

By Car (from Madrid Barajas International Airport):
- Take the M-40 motorway.
- Continue on M-40 until the A-3, A-4.
- Take the exit for Vicalvaro-O´Donell.
- When you reach the O’Donell roundabout, follow the signs towards Calle Alcalá.
- Continue straight on until you reach Gran Vía. Laris Hostel is level with Gran Vía 32.
