The location was perfect, the staff are courteous, polite and helpful. I loved the rooms, they are big and clean. Also, I asked the reception about local places to go and hang out and listen to good music, and they were more than willing to show me where to go. Furthermore, I arrived very early and they accomodated me and allowed me to check in at 10 am. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The exercise facilities were quite limited. Even adding heavier weights to what is available would be a great help.CNN is the only English channel. Would have been nice to have more English Channels. My only small complaint is that the gym was too small, a treadmill would have been a welcome addition.PLEASE, BE MORE CLEAR HOW THEY CHARGE YOU!!! - DIRECTLY IN HOTEL OR THEY TOOK FIRST NIGHT DIRECTLY FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD (!). although a non smoking room, distinct smell of tobacco and once or twice a dampish/sour like smell coming from some rooms in the hallway,which would concern me if I had been allocated those rooms!!. A lovely gym but it did not open till 10am. most people like to go to the gym before they start their day. Mid morning opening is too late as any good tourist will have long gone out for the day. Gym very small, sauna not operating, no access to movie channel (pay per view). The a/c won't work properly if your window is open even a little bit. We informed the staff and it was fixed promptly. just a little run-down, there needs to be some work done.The workout room was very small and only had 2 free weights. internet didn't work well one of the two evenings. daily appliance of bathroom accessories (bath, soaps....). breakfast cost was high for what was offered. excellent brunch but it is pricey. Room a little bit warn out; credit card preautorisation, breakfast too expencive. Nice location, close to Rambla.
