fantastic location..........everyone was so helpful and nice. Room was in an excellent location, on side street......could not hear any noise through windows...would stay there again..... proximity to everything .also it had lots of nice extra tuches e.g Good toiletries,well serviced rooms, friendly staff. I absolutley loved this hotel and it is in a great location. Will def be staying there again!!!.
all reviews » the staff at the reception and in the restaurant was always very nice and helpful. The lunchs at the restaurant had a very good price/money relation (February). Many of the restaurant staff knew French as well as English. The supervising and control (by a very nice lady) of the cleaning people appeared as being really serious and efficient. The view of the room on Rambla strret was very good. Efficient pleasant staff. Very comfortable room.Wonderfully located and beautiful room. Our room was clean, comfortable, modern and the location was fantastic. Location. the room was very quiet although Le Meridien is located on a very busy street. The beds and the cleanlineless of my room. The quality of bed sand bedlineen.Food portions were very small at CentOnze restaurant........was even charged for the bread???????? but waiters were excellent. The fact that there was no designated smoking area in bar or lobby. the breakfast buffet might be considered as being too expensive for what is offered; another breakfast choice should be offered for people who prefer having always lunch at 1 pm and who are not so attracted by a big American breakfast. The air conditioning did not work in our room - only blew out hot air. We got mixed messages from reception telling us how to fix it. It is such a pity as it such a lovely hotel. Word of warning - we were approached one morning minutes after leaving the hotel by a lovely, helpful old man who gave us directions. He said he worked for the hotel even producing an ID card but no photo.Room service food was not very good. the WC in the bathroom was flushing every ten minutes due to a leaking seal. Breakfast expensive. The aircondition did not work, it was to warm in the rooms. I also heard other guests complaining about this. I had to sleep with my window open....The rooms are desinged in a modern style. They have a lot of unconfortable furniture inside the tiny rooms. We hit our legs by metallic legs of table and chairs which are always on your way. The design is rather gloomy. In the night the blue lamp in the toilet switches on every time when you move. When front desc girl couldn't find our reservation she was rather unfriendly.
