the personnel was great especially the day receptionist, the room even though it was not very big, comfortable and clean while the breakfast very good. hotel curious is very safe and welcoming. i liked the free use of the internet and that it was very central (almost in the Ramblas). Absolutely everything. The room was excellent, with all the necessary services. Spotlessly clean and the room felt very safe. would recommend to everyone! Breakfast was great and all the staff were so incredibly useful with offering advice to where to go and what to do! Fantastic!.
all reviews » Very convenient for oriental tourist because we do not need bar service, room service nor swimming pool. The staff are most friendly and knowlegeable to local situation. He even help us to take the luagage to the taxi he arranged for us to the airport. Good value for money: All the staff are very friendly. Excellent location, very close to the center city and Las Ramblas. Rooms are clean, quiet and well equiped. Free WI-FI... I would definitely stay there again!!!. Would have been nice with WiFi-internet in rooms (there is free internet connected computer in the lobby but without visible USB-port). room too hot and air conditioning didn't seem to work but mild for time of year so settings not quite right perhaps. rooms were small. very noisy if the room face to the street. Would have liked coffee/tea facilities in the room but did not expect them for the price. view from the window (elevator shaft). If you a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs as the sound from the corridor is quite noticeable. Due to exceptionally heavy and prolonged rainfall during my stay there was water infiltration from the roof in my room (top floor) which in turn shorted out the electrics and couldn't be repaired during the Whitsun weekend; therefore no light, no TV ... The staff tried their best and were very apologetic and embarrassed about it. It was a bit noisy in the morning with the cleaners going round, most people would've been up already by this time.No closet, no view from room's window, small room. No closet. No view from our room at all.
