Superb position on the edge of the Planty and really convenient for trips by coach and train as well. Lovely quiet room at back of hotel. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Good size unclutterd rooms. Excellent breakfasts. The room was very big and of good quality decoration. It felt like coming back to my own apartment as I had keys for external and all internal secutity doors.. Bathroom looked new,shower was very good.all reviews »
The room was very big and clean. i liked that we stayed in the centre, we were very private and room was very spacious and confortable, bathroom was clean and excellent and it was separated from main reception making it more privated.The receptionist was very helpful, room was really spacious and designed and furnished with good taste.Hotel was easy to find. Hotel is near centrum. Breakfast is good and has a good timing. Simple standard but very clean. English-speaking stuff.Excellent central location. Very peaceful/clean with a good shower. The central position. quiet and very close to the old town. When I booked the hotel I was not told that I had to get keys from next door hotel and that breakfast would also be in next door hotel. I found out when I arrived and found a notice at the entrance door. Once inside though I was very happy with the room/facilities. the breakfast was very poor and not bar service during the night so no food or drinks .For someone it could be difficult without elevator. Ventilation is bad, and if room would look on the street it could be stuffy even room is big. There was no kitchen in our room. A double bed for two people would have been better than 2 single beds pushed together. Fruit and yoghurt at breakfast would be appreciated..there was none.A single traveller would feel a bit isolated in a building in need of restoration with five locked doors before reaching the room,dark passages and several flights of stairs (which was akward for my elderly mother). need a few more towels, no lift. they charge to clean room each day and for fresh towels. Prefer to have hot water pot.Not really, but it could be a problem with noise with hot summer days and traffic noise(no A/C). I think a kettle and drinks making facilities should have been provided. I wouldhave liked a lockbox in the room, also maybe a better shower. there was no lift and my friend was using a crutch so it was qiute difficult for him cause we had our room on the floor no 2.
