The room and breakfast were excellent. The ambiance of the hotel was impressive. We really enjoyed our stay. comfortable and luxurious, near station and centrum, ideal for a weekend like me. Modern hotel... nice big bathroom. Breakfast was good coffee excellent!. everything, it was real pleasure. The beds were very comfortable. Location in the centre, 5 minutes walk from the Central Station from which you get to the airport within 20 minutes. The reception was very friendly and service-oriented, they were easy to cooperate with. The hotel is modern and clean with nice facilities and great hotel lobby where you can meet people.

The prices are quite high.The only thing I don't like is price of the hotel which is quite high. High prices of both accommodation and especially hotel food. It is quite a lot even for Norway.This is primarily a business hotel. At weekends this was fine, not sure what it would be like with a lot of Sales reps in midweek. rooms were not up to the same standards as an american hotel with the same rating. Breakfast was good but availability of items varied between days. they do not provide washcloths in the bathroom. We only used 1 x bottle of cola fro the minibar but were charged for much more than this. As we were in a rush to catch our plane we did not have time to argue about these extra charges and simply paid the extra amount. It spoilt our stay a bit. very comfortable indeed. expensive, but for the quality very good. The access of the hotel is a bit difficult as at this moment because of work done on the roads. The single room was very small indeed!. The windows have poor isolation for noise, even at 12th floor. The contruction work in the street did wake me up 4 AM.The noise from the street due to the construction work was very unpleasent. Until its end it would be proposed a discounted price for streetside rooms. The hot water did not run consistently. The temperature of the water keep changing, while I was in the shower!. It was remarkable to find the breakfast lounge being vacuum cleaned while the guests were still finishing the breakfast on 31st January. Asked for two extra beds for our children, but they had to share a sofa bed. No shower gels and stuff like that you would normally get in a hotel of that rating. They charged the whole expenditure on my credit card more before I checked out. This was not grace. I think, they can overcome this lack of confidence.Yes the so called fitness center is a joke... 5 piece's of out dated equipment that is all broken down. Even the seat on the bike broken in half... Its a joke but not a very good one considering they hosted the Olympics in 1950 something and the main reason for me choosing this hotel was for its "excellent state of the art" fitness center.. I had to find a gym in town and pay to use.. My only observation would be that I really don't nede clean towels every day - must contribute to global warming, through energy use and detergants!! Room service menu limted too for a lone traveller although food was excellent.The breakfast was very bad, it was buffet but they had just a few itemsand the quality of the food was really low. I was extremelydissapointed, left the restaurant hungry and went have breakfastsomewhere else. No toiletries in bathrooms.Uncomfortable beds.Location of spa difficult to find and no one on duty so availability of use not clear. Restaurant staff is a bit duh, hotel finishings and details totally spoil the image of the hotel overall, , for example the quality of the woods in the bedrooms, the appearance of corners, etc, a bit expensive if u consider all these small things. The aircondition was very strong!. 1980s American-style decoration. The cleaning was not good, found an earring from a former guest under mybed my second day. Very expensive - central situation , but not in the most secure area of the city apprently.
