The hotel’s new bar and restaurant Pillars has recently been opened in the lobby on the ground floor. Pillar’s menu lists Bites, Social Sharing and Casual Entrées and guests can enjoy a selection of 25 wines by the glass. Breakfast is served in the Brasserie on the first floor, featuring views over Rotterdam Central Station, on weekends and holidays until 13.30. From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport it only takes guests 25 minutes by train to get to Rotterdam Central Station, and from there just a 1 minute walk to Rotterdam Marriott Hotel. Rotterdam-The Hague Airport is located at 10 minutes driving distance from the hotel. International trains such as the Thalys (2,5 hrs from Paris), Deutsche Bahn and Eurostar all arrive at Rotterdam Central Station. I loved staying at the Westin, it was the best hotel i have stayed in, staff couldn't have been any nicer or helpful, room was amazing and spotless, the bed was as stated - heavenly. Could have probably spent the weekend in the room it was so nice. Will definitely stay at the Westin again if in Rotterdam. Excellent staff and room. The hotel wasn't so full so they put us in a better room than we had asked for, for the same fee. We asked for an extra bed a few hours after we had arrived and they gently provided everything with absolutely no extra charge!.

On check-in I was informed that there would be an imprint taken on my credit card of a "small amount" to cover any expenses incurred. On check-out it seems that a deposit of the room amount had been placed during check-in. This was a misleading act by the hotel and they should have been clear and asked for room payment in advance if that is what they wanted!. Nothing. no restaurant for lunch, only one restaurant for dinner, not really 5 star hotel. Absence of indoor smoking facility. the alarm clock going off in an empty room adjacent to mine, which woke me up 45 minutes early.Internet should be part of the room charge - would you charge extra for hot water in the shower?. A bad Breakfast at £26 per person !!. Its really old. The back part of the hotel is really noisy. I didnt find the 4 stars.
