Lovely BandB, very close to historical sights. Comfortable, stylish and very clean rooms. Maria, the main member of staff, is very helpful and concerned to make the stay everything you would wish. It's warm and friendly atmosphere, the staff, who were excellent, and location. A great place to stay!. It was located 1/2 block from the Duomo, but was extremely quiet. The staff was helpful and courteous. It is ideal location in the very centre of city, room was well equipped, clean, staff friendly.The rooms, and the staff were great! It's my new hotel in Florence. Excellent situation, clean room, friendly , efficient and helpful staff,. Room, bathroom especially. we stayed at the apartement Giglio, it is really cosy, but a bit dark, as there is only one window (with a nice view), there is a fully equiped kitchen, but we didn't use it (too many good restaurants around), shower / toilet was small but clean and good working (water power of the shower). so good location, just 1 minute to Duomo St Maria Fiore. At such a popular place, you still can enjoy a peaceful room when windows closed. Staff there is so friendly and helpful. Good location next to the Duomo and within walking distance of the trainstation. Ok breakfast. Helpful and pleasant staff.Maria was very helpful. The breakfast was good and the location was very good. Centrally located (stayed in Giglio apartment, not in actualguest rooms). We were so close to the Duomo that the church bells woke us up at 7 amevery morning (just kidding, it was great, no need for an alarm clock). Nichts - nix - nothing. No!. a bit noisy during night hours. Room noisy if window open , no lift, more a bed and breakfast than hotel. Complimentary breakfast only available at 8:30 am. Should be available at least by 7:00 am. Would not recommend this hotel if you are traveling by rental car. No parking at hotel, and nearest garage charges 23 euros for one night. Exorbitant. Also, driving to and from the hotel to drop off and load your luggage is difficult because of one way streets, and crowds of tourists around the Duomo.If they can provide quilt, rather than bed sheet... Our room was situated above a bar which played thumping music and had people talking loudly until very late at night. Even with triple glazing on he windows, this was very annoying.Not good value for money.

Information about the area
Local attractions include the Santa Maria Del Fiore. One of the main artistic patrimonies of the world, the cathedral is named after the symbol of the city, a flower.
The construction of this large cathedreal began in 1296, in place of the old cathedral of Santa Reparata. The original project was by Arnolfo di Cambio but the structure was completed by another architect, Giotto. From the terrace of the Duomo there is a wonderful views of the cathedral.
The Piazza del Duomo, the heart of Florence, is full of beautiful shops and prestigious cafès and restaurants.
