I went to Bali for 9 night and stayed at Kuta Playa as it was located on the beach and close to everything. I hired a pool villa as I was looking for total privacy and a little luxury. The minute I walked in the front gate the is what I was greated by. It was awesome, I could not fault it. The villa was large and beautiful, it was decorated nicely and was rather large. The private pool was beautiful. I loved everything about the Kuta Playa, will be back for sure. The staff are excellent.
all reviews » We love the high bed n the seaview balcony....the staffs always greeted us with a friendly smile. Breakfast is ok not much variety should have pancakes, muffins or bagel not Soto soup.... We love the way the chambermaid tidy n clean our room....she really put in effort n details to her work...such a great worker...too bad we could not remember her name! As for the rest all are great!! Keep up with the good work...definitely will choose this hotel again when visit Bali!. 2-bedroom villa is really nice, cosy and clean. 2 big bedrooms with very nice king-size beds. In-room breakfast is so good and from villa you can order it even after 10 am. GM was very friendly and helpful. He arranged an excursion for all day, advised places to visit and presented free transfer to the hotel/airport. Very nice location in Kuta. The location is very good a few step and the surfing beach is there. Breakfast was good as well . The staff are very friendly. One thing was annoying me which was the staff response to the guest requirement . However, that was due to the pressure on the staff as the hotel was really full with guests. Anyhow, for sure i will stay there again. My son and myself have good time...Staff are so friendly and polite. They will go extra miles when u need their help. Very close to town, the beach and beackwalk shpg area. Love it!. Perfect location right on the beach, yet in a quieter section of Kuta... north of the main Kuta business and south of the Legian action. There's this young expat couple who are on the same floor as us complaining abt the music too...after a few days there the loud music have toned down....at last got to sleep peacefully....lastly there's no bath tub....would love it if they have it in the room!. SPA is not ready yet. There is a construction near here (8 am - 6pm). Guess after all the works will be done it will be probably the best place in Kuta. The toilet smells so awful with some dirty stains... the mosqitoe net is dirty. Should provide more mosqitoe repellent for the guest. Hair on floor of room from previous guest and kept on having to remind them replace toiletry items. Lobby is too small, found a mosquito in the room. Hotel is only 12 months old, so lots of new staff still learning and some building being finalised... but did not affect our stay!. Breakfast was so-so, nothing special about choice of foods or taste. Air conditioner was not very strong in our room ... They changed us and it was a bit better ... Pool was closed last two days (will be April 10- 30th) so that was hard to explain to our two yr old son. Shower heads were a little bit old and not user friendly. mosquito and buggs. noisy, not only because was close to the main road, but also due to thin walls. 1. Noise from air conditioner's outside part behind the wall, especially at night. We had to ask for another room. 2. There was no electricity in the room several times. 3. Shampoo was not provided in time. 4. Cups without handle in tea set. Air Condition not working in room Room Service is not picking up the phone No variety in breakfast. The noisy metro music around the front pool+restaurant which is probably why no one relaxes there ,change that+all would be great. occasionally the food..but maybe i dont really favor balinese cooking. mosquito around the vicinity. no more availibility of breakfast. noisey rooms. But we have a few things we didn't like the first is for the breakfast they don't have many choices for foreingers all over the world, and the other thing is about cleanning as we have to ask them to clean the villa and they dont have an extra key to clean it while we were in a tour. We must leave our key!!! And the internet was so poor i had to reconnect to internet every 5 minutes!! They have to improve their services more. it seems that they do not have enough staff and the available staff are trying their best but still they are not serving everyone as they should do, the breakfast was not that good to me maybe it was good for locals. A lot of mosquitos at night and I had to buy an insect killer to be able to sleep peacefully (pool access door has a crack which mosquitos were able to get into the room). Loud music from bar & restaurant when sitting on balcony. No facilities at pool for ordering food/drinks. Faulty aircon-absolute crap. Size of rooms-very pokey pool location-sun 4hrs/day noise from workman. Renovations-should have received reduced rate due to amenities out of bounds breakfast-basic western no bacon, served mainly indonesian. Breakfast catered for asain tourist mainly. We paid good money for a 1 bed villa in which the air con in the main room did not work. After asking the staff to fix every day for 4 days, nothing happened. Requested for a flower setup in room which they did not do. It's kind of turn off. Quite a far distance walking to other shopping area such as discovery mall etc.. unless you intend to take others types of transport going to other places. AC was HOT, sleep was uncomfortable without good AC. told reception many times but they did nothing about it. I booked & paid for this hotel 6 months in advance and was told they had no record of this during check in. We waited for over half an hour for this to be resolved then they tried to charge me again for the rooms. Had to ask to see the Manager, then they found our booking. House keeping failed to replace items in the room. The facilities in villa are old. It's not value to money. breakfast buffet. the spa facilities are poor. The room was too small,the bathroom very bad ,not clean ,no bathtap.. We booked 5 nights but we didn't like the hotel and we stayed just 2nights but they charged us 3 nights. Poor lighting Mosquitos Maintenance Issues - holes in floors, drains Needed outdoor seating No basic equipment - bottle opener. cutlery etc. The room that we booked, Junior suite, the aircon totally not cold. We stayed 3 nights using fan as hotel claimed no more room. All. I stayed at the pool villa for the 3rd time. They definitely need a revamp. From the Pool to the furnitures and toilet are very dirty. Will not stay here again.
