The location is good, is near to the metro and in a good zone. The female shared room is nice, has enough space for your backpack, but sleep with 8 people more, always is a little noice. You can use a small kitchen to prepare food and if you need towell you need to pay a quiet expensive I think. But Hong Kong is very expensive, comparative with the rest of China. The info of the receptionist is not complete, they just give indication by metro to visit the places, they dont have idea about bu.
all reviews » Excellent place! 100% guarantee that you will love it! It's cheap, fully facilitated, friendly stuff/people. Wi-fi is the best! Since I live in Mainland China, for me it was luxury! No VPNs and super powerful speed! You never feel alone there, there's a garden on a rooftop and a terrace on the 4th floor. Plus it's clean, a cleaning lady comes every day. Different floors, living room, kitchen, terrace and free wifi. definitely more than Value for Money. Stayed in a 21-bed dorm with a good mix of people from different countries. Great for meeting other backpackers. At the same time not short on privacy or security as we each had curtains for our beds, personal sockets beside each bed and a locker secured with an electronic lock (opened by the card you use to gain access into the room). The hostel is centrally located, less than five minutes walk from Causeway Bay metro station. The common room is nice, and there's a free massage armchair ... :) wifi is perfectly working. 9 bed dorms is ok, the bathroom is large. -Best hostel by far, exactly as advertised. -Rooms are air conditioned which is a must in HK. -Very close to the MTR station (Exit B). There are no mirror in the room, only in the bath, and it seems some girls spend a lot of time there for make up in the morning. -Have to use the stairs to get to the reception which is on the 2nd floor. -I had to share a room with 8 other people and had to share 1 toilet/shower. Some people were in the toilet quite long which did get annoying. 1) There were no hangers in the dorm, so I had to keep my clothing in the backpack or on the bed for all times. 2)The cups for coffee are very small. That would be very cool to buy a set of normal size mugs. 3) The staff wasn`t really into interction with the guests. They acted more like people at reception in hotels. In a room of 18 people, sometimes 2 bathrooms are not enough, some days smelly. Lockers are so small, not big enough for backpacks, so every body have to leave the luggage on the floor. If the curtain of the bed could be bigger. So it can protect the privacy. The Hennessy Road is very noisy in every hour of the day, it takes a while to get used to it. I think it was my bad luck, but the guest on the bed next to me had a very active sexual life at nights, what made sometimes impossible to sleep at night. dorm room woes of people not being mindful of other people trying to sleep but that's not the hostels fault. From the outside the hostel's signage could be more visible. Check-in and check-out takes time. Pillows were quite thin but other than that...it was all great! Thanks !. Didn't really like the bed. It wasn't really that soft and comfy. I also didn't like the entrance from the main door of the building. Can be a little hard to find the entrance. no, it's wonderful. the elevator doesnt reach the ground floor and the stairway is pretty small so u'd better not bring big bags.. Bathroom in dorm was great but not having a separate toilet can make for a long wait sometimes. No other toilets on same floor, down to 2nd floor if needed. I ha trouble finding it because I didn't look high enough for the sign... The staff was blur, confused. I gave her a thousand dollars but she claim that I gave 500dollars and we argued for quite a bit and I had to tell her to check the CCTV before she return me my proper change. Thought was poor customer service though. My friend was shortchange of $100 as well. It's not convenient for travelers with big luggage as you have to lug it through a flag of stairs. But other than that, comfortable place to stay for budget travelers. (1) Found some rubbish in the bathroom. (2) Check in counter is on the upper floor, you have to walk up to the counter. It is convenient If you bring a suitcase with you while check in. Not much. The location may be a bit difficult to find behind a bus stop and inside an office building. It is a little hard to find!. air condition is not enough. A bit hard to find, had to walk stairs to get to elevator. $100HK deposit (didn't day it had to be cash). not much.

Please note, due to different group sizes and lengths of stays, your group may not be allocated into same room or same floor. Guests can purchase tooth brushes and slippers or hire towels from the front desk. Total amount of first night room fee will be charged by Yesinn (Legal name is Y-center Ltd.) to confirm your booking. The dormitory rooms only accept guests 12 years old or above unless the guest reserve the whole dorm. For group booking more than 8 persons and only one night's stay will be rejected without prior notice. Your deposit may not be refunded if you make such booking.
