This hotel was perfect for a quiet base to return to after the hustle and bustle of the city and a demanding sightseeing schedule. Our room was comfortable, newly decorated and spotlessly clean. It was equipped with everything we needed including a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. We mostly walked down into the city through the park but taxi'd back because the hotel is on steep hill.

Service from the staff was excellent. Internet was available at a very reasonable cost. Service is always fantastic, and with a smile. I was fortunate enough to have a garden/city view room this time and the sight is absolutely spectacular. Excellent value and quality.The best place for the price in Central. On arrival we were given a free upgrade (just because we asked!) and when we asked if there was anything they could do about the matress being too hard, they had it replaced straight away. It is very clean. The room is comfortable. I love the magnificent city view, the best sites of all. Temperature control available , a thin quilt is needed even for 9 degree at night. Airconditioning to strong. well, the time of using the pool was restrictive.....Price of the internet. dont have smoking room. not enough water in the toilet. location is great , but for those who like to walk, it's a bit of a climb up the hill.I had to pay HK$ 100 per day for the internet, which was very often interrupted. Breakfast not included and the night staff couldnt be more ignorant. Very poor internet services.The hotel was on a hill so after a long day, it felt like a bit of a hike to get back. Also, there was no free internet (wireless or otherwise). maybe just the difficult way of going to the hotel via walking. then there is no restaurant or place to eat for tourists that are reasonably priced.very very cold in the lobby :). location. The location is far from bus or MTR stops/stations. The hotel is located on the slop of a hill, so walking with the kids was not very convenient for me. Flexibility - we arrived early in the morning and they allowed us to check in early and upgraded us to a better room. Location - I thought I would be staying within walking distance from the "center of things". It turned out to be a 15-20 min walk.Some room , still not renovated. I had difficulty in using inernet (by ADSL cable). It would be better if they install a WI-Fi system. Bad staff availability when we arrived. I had a few troubles with Internet. The downloading of european pages was little slowly. Price for internet (100 HKD / day or 300 HKD / 2 weeks). I would prefer some special Internet rate for 1 week.The mattress, I would prefer a softer mattress. We were warned about no water for Thursday and prepared for it but it did not push through. Restaurant available downstairs not satisfactory.
