Comfortable, great bed, position (100m away from the train station, 50m from the cathedral (dom), 5min walk to the center!). Comfort and Cleanliness, Location. Friendly staff, good value, excellent location. We could walk everywhere, or use excellent public transport.Location and the cleanliness of the hotel were perfect. very quiet. The central location made it a breeze to walk to any and all points of interest in Cologne, and getting to the train station after my stay was equally simple. Excellent location near the cathedral and the old city of Koeln. The hotel is comfortable, but only provides the basics (no recreation facilities). But the city has lots to offer, so the incentive to leave your room is worthwhile. The staff was helpful and spoke satisfactory English.Cleanliness, central position, convenient for rail station. . Bit of a seedy area. reception (mannaer of communication). Passing through the Chinese restaurant on my way to the room, little bitstrange, and the smell of their cusine through the hotel. Breakfast area a bit small.You have to walk through a chinese reasturants kitchen to get to your room, this may annoy some, we accutly liked it as we love chinese food. To get to the room located in a back part of the hotel, we had to pass the back of the Chinese restaurants. The corridor was filed whit the smells from the kitchen. It was quite disturbing.did not have secure room to keep our lugages for late check out. include breakfast in hotel rates. Lift didn't go fully to top floors, so some stairs involved if you werein single room. Bathroom is quite outdated. Taking shower is a challenge.noise from other rooms. Too noisily becuase of the Dom bells, so you wake up at 7 o`clock in a morning, poor brekfast, there are no shampoo and shower gel in a bathroom.No elevator... no one helps to carry luggage.. what am I suppose to do??? Also you place water heater next to TV, where am I suppose to stick the plug??? I plugged my PC and Water heater in the bathroom..!!! and that's very dangerous!!! how about some wall sockets and plugs next to night desks??.. and that sign that says "reception 40m " is classic in goes on Facebook....also water pressure is... Part of the staff could have been better at customer service. The hotel smelled like there was always something cooking. There is no elevator in the hotel, that's why to get heavy baggage on the fourth floor could be a real problem. And it was stinking in the corridor. Too small room. Not so clean.

From airport Cologne/Bonn the bus line 170 takes you (for fee) to Cologne main station, regularly each 15 minutes, within approx. 20 minutes journey time. Or you take a taxi (approx. EUR 20) or the train.
