From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent and remained that way throughout our stay. Ideal location to explore Cologne. The whole stay was perfect. Hotel was immaculate and the staff were very friendly. Our room was beautiful with a fantastic view of the Dom.The room was beautifully decorated and furnished comfortably. It's a publicfacility, however, so the hotel can't do much to change this. But theycan reduce or eliminate the internet fee.(1)Its called the Dom Hotel ( Le Meridien not posted as the official name). this made me look for it for a while before check in. (2) the room service meneu was a bit limitted for a 5 star Hotel. The bathroom was a liittle old. breakfast, must be ın the price. no option for longer use of room. yes housekeeping was not good,room was not very arranged, when I asked if they have shuttle service to the airport, they said yes but they did not say that they will charge me 96 euros for this service , so I thought it was free. Very slow elevators; old fashioned room design. Staff. Small rooms for a 5 star hotel - the ac wasnt working - the bathroom hadlots of problems. The toilet paper was missing: Incredible for that price! Also wewaited half an hour for check in because there were only one people atthe reception. On my opinion this could not be considered a 5 star hotel any more.Small Bathroom.
