Excellent Staff. Friendly and very helpfull and cheap beer onsale in foyer. Close to the Hauptbahnhof. Cheap. location is perfect!. central location. For this price I stayed a block from the Dom...Really!. Central location, great for daytime activities. Location. It was convenient for the main station and did not cost too much. The breakfast was limited but with self-service one had enough to eat and drink. The staff were helpful and the front door was always open and manned. The location was great. We have stayed there during the Cologne Carnival so it was pretty busy. Breakfast was always on time and our room was cleaned everyday.Very convienent for the railway station and dom. Location. Location - Close to the Railway Station. closeness to downtown.close to train station. I did like the fact that it was close to the rail station. Close to the city centre. I did not like the small rooms and the shared bathroom or the twin beds...and it was very hot in the room....No bathrooms in rooms. Noisiness, beds. very good breakfast for the money, much better than a stayokay. Breakfast!. The Dom/Hbf area becomes shady at night, and this location is not ideal for nightlife enjoyment. Also, shared bathrooms, although clean enough, are also an inconvenience. Room small but ok. The room at the front I had on 24. August had noise from the street and I had to close the windows. But that is not unusual in a city centre hotel. The bed was a little hard but I slept quite well. There is no internet connection available whatsoever. Breakfast was very simple. Beds were not comfortable. The rooms do not have private bathroom and it felt like we were staying at a hostel. Having said that, there are showers and toilets on every floor and they were clean.
The walls were so thin that you could here people's whispering in the next room.No bathroom in the rooms!!!!!!!. Shared Bathrooms and Toilets...NO room service.Bathroom and lavatory outside rooms. understood i had booked a hotel room with a bathroom, found this to not be the case and the hotel did not want to find me one with a room, hostel would be a better description than hotel. The reception and entrance was dirty and untidy I am sure that it was the worst hotelthat I have ever stayed in and I won't be back. This hotel stinks tobacco in all places. The concierge is smoking and all goes through the rooms. A night mare for a non smoker.Absolutely everything. There is not one good thing to say about this "hotel" It smelt, everything about it was old and worn out, it should come with a warning on your web site that the facilities are not in your room but in the corridor. I will be using another booking site from now on.

Within 5 minutes are the Musical Dom and the banks of the Rhine from which you can book your boat trips on the river. Within 10 minutes you will reach the chocolate museum, the main fairgrounds and the zoo.

By public transport:
Due to excellent transport connections at the Dom, our hotel is easy to reach. Apart from the main station literally a minute away, there is a bus terminal and the Dom/Hauptbahnhof underground station in front of the hotel. It is a 15 minute journey by the city train from the main station to Cologne/Bonn airport.
By Car:
- Follow the signs for the Dom, Hauptbahnhof and Zentrum.
By Train:
Take the exit for Kölner Dom. After 80 metres you will see our hotel on your left.
