locality-2 minutes from cathedral, bus and train station, nice price for the level of hotel - as it seemed it was new or renovated recently, large room, new furniture, good linen,nice staff and good breakfast - after much more expensive but with wosre conditions hotel in Paris it was really wonderful. Nice and friendly + helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, no any noice. Location good, for example Kölner Dom is near. Breakfast execellent. Price quality ratio perfect. .
all reviews » As was the case with my previous stay at the Hotel everything was to the highest quality possible and the staff found time to speak to me and give advice on sights worth seeing. We liked the friendly and helpful staff, who informed us of places to see restaurants to visit for meals.The large selection at the breakfast was wonderful!!. The location is ideal for the Christmas market. The hotel is fabulous and the staff exceptional. Breakfast was great! I will definitely stay there again. In themeantime, other gasts could pay by credit cards. I could not understandthe reason that only guests outside of Germany could not pay by creditcards. Maybe it is an internal policy of the hotel management, but for acity where the tourists from other countries are commimng it is not afriendly sign this fact.Quality of pillows very poor. Old room keys - needs to return back to reception when go out.The breakfast room was very small and finding a seat was rather a free-for-all!! If the hotel had been fully booked it would have been impossible to find a table. No air conditioning, but had a fan which was nice. It didn't have a bar, although apparently this is standard.
