We stayed at the hotel during November 17-22, for 5 nights. The hotel itself is amazingly located at the heart of the old town, yet in a quiet street. Everything was fast upon arrival late at 23:00 - the hotel receptionist gave us a quick information about nearby pubs & restaurants, and we got our room quickly. all reviews » The hotel location is wonderful, every important sites are within walking distance, but in quiet area: only 5 mins to Charles bridge, 8 mins to metro, 5 mins to old town square, it is so convenient; breakfast is good; the staffs are so nice and helpful, they helped me to lift my luggage to my room; bed is very comfortable; and they also give me couple for money exchange and good recommendation for local restaurant; I also cancel another hotel and stay in this hotel during my trip back to Prague. The Red Chair Hotel in Prague offer excellent value for money and excellent positioning for easy touring of Prague old city and is within steps of Charles' Bridge and the Chocolate Cafe. This friendly hotel is comfy and welcoming, and the staff are second to none in terms of friendliness. As a single traveller, this hotel offered safety and quiet extremely clean rooms and I would go back to this hotel again. The staff is awesome, helped a lot any problem we faced. The breakfast was quite poor, but enough for a trip. The location is perfect! Walking distance to anywhere in the Old Town! That was our second time in Prague, so we didn't use hotel tranfer and preferred official prague airport transfer which is a little bit cheaper than the one they offer. Although the hotel is in a quiet area, but since my room is facing the street, sometimes it will be some noise at night, esp saturday night, even 2 or 3am some one is walking by, made some noise, other time are fine. Hope this was temporary problem but water went out quite slow in the sink, shower and toilet.. Also, wifi is not very fast, but there's wifi mostly everywhere in Prague, so it didn't bother a lot. Really not much. A bit of construction during the day in the courtyard did make it a bit noisy but didn't have too much impact. They could also make the directions via email and website super specific because Prague is one tricky town to walk around in. Access to the car park is very narrow and hard to use if you are unfamiliar with your hire car, but thankfully there was someone available to park our car for us. maybe fresh fruit (other than apples). Our room faced the main street and my husband is a light sleeper. He was awakened by street noise. It didn't bother the children or myself though. nothing it was exactly what we expected. Beware - no elevator (lift). There was really nothing to complain about. Nothing in particular. A couple of light bulbs out, should have been instructions for non-techs in turning off TV. Tricky to get to with a car!. The breakfast was ok. Lots of stairs with heavy bags but that's Europe. Okay price maybe a bit high for what it was but the staff made up for it. Nothing. Touch expensive, but perhaps not surprising given the central area. The internet connection could be better. It worked all the time, but was quite slow. (anyway better than on Prague airport, where it was really really slow). I little too much noise during the day in the courtyard from other businesses. Hallway carpet a little musty.
