Walking distance to all major attractions, including Old Montreal and Centre Bell. Friendly curteous staff, on-site parking and spacious well maintained rooms. Hi class very clean more then i expected......very happy....have already recommended to a few friends going to montreal in a few months. Hotel staff was very friendly. They recognized us from last year which says a lot about staff consistency.

Ice machines don't really work properly.it was a bit noisy on our floor. room infront of the elevator. The hotel staff was having some sort of protest, I assume concerning wages. The ensuing whistle blowing and noise did not endear me to their situatin. I found it very annoying and unprofessional as a group that deals with the general public on a daily basis. the air circulation or what ever it was that made the room so stuffy.The only thing I didn't like was that the gym was misrepresented (only 2 or 3 cardio machines) and an "all in one", not what i'm used to. No hair conditioner or toothpaste in bathroom. No room service - you had to go downstairs to the restaurant and get 'take out'.. not convenient at all.The parking was difficult. The lanes were very tight and driving around was a bit unnerving. The ceiling clearance was very. People driving SUV's and minivans or cars with roof top carriers should be warned. The outside appeal. They didn't provide room service for breakfast. The carpeting in the rooms are starting to show their age. Also, the room could use better lighting.The rooms could be more sound proof.Breakfast could be more reasonable or the opportunity to have a menu. The lifts took an age to get to the destination. Breakfast only average,. Only we were not advised about the charges for over night parking. Requested a smoking room but none were available. The parking. This is the frist time that we had to pay for parking in a hotel. Lack of having access to drinks, etc outside the bar and restaurant opening hours. Room service was not available outside these times. TV did not work so well, but it was good enough to watch the olympics. There is always a housekeeping issue at each stay, this time the robes were missing and the coffee maker was not properly cleaned. We found an empty pack of cigarettes left on the safe (non-smoking room). Little things matter in housekeeping and at that hotel the staff does not seem to have strong training or leadership.The check in time, the hidden cost and the parking arrangement is deadlyfor larger vehicles. The carpets in the corridors and the tiles is the bathroom were not cleaned.Not as clean as i would have liked it to be. Its not 4 star, more like 3 star. Pool was dirty, did not even go in there. Ability to contact front desk. Access to stairs. Did not code my key properly and had to walk down the stairs. Elevator accessibility from garage not convenient.The restaurant hours were poor. The pool was very cold for children. The room was ok. I would not classify this hotel as 4 star but a Low 3 star. It was worth the $90 / night but nothing more. Over all 6/10. Paid more than advertised price online and got a smoking room and I had requested a non-smoking room.Rooms are very small, carpet old and very dusty in the corners, one bedhad coffeestains on top, mildew on the seeling in the bathroom, curtainshad 4 cirgarette holes, beds very noisy and old, alltogether we weredisapointed regarding the quality of the room. parking, swimming pool. to everyone out there this hotel is the worst hotel i have ever been at and i have traveled the world..............
