Location, staff were nice and approachable, the hostel had all the essentials required for a stay (kitchen etc), room door self-locks and is opened by a key card, hostel was big inside and is really good for money. I think it was great. Clean, neat comfortable and relaxed, I don't have any negatives and have already recommended it to family and friends on facebook. Cleanliness Huge kitchen with everything ! Huge rooftop Price was worth it, security and cleanliness and comfort and facilities.
all reviews » staff were fantastic!!! bar etc.... was great. Lots of parties!. Beds were suprisingly comfy but the pillows were VERY thin... I had to sleep on my towel. I liked the security, but was dissapointed i could not have been placed on the same floor as my friends even though this was requested well before check in. This caused a hassle because i had to get them to let me into their room from the lift each time i wanted to visit them. The staff were friendly. And the bar had a good atmosphere. Bed was comfortable and clean. price. It's location was perfect for my needs and I liked having the security of the 24hour reception, especially as I knew I'd be coming back to my room in the very early hours of the morning in a very intoxicated state. The staff were friendly and the kitchen was welcoming and the guests were friendly. probably gold place for young ppl to meet, hang out, connect and party. Close the queen victoria market. Every dat has a event. Cheap. Good location in the north of the CBD. Not much!. Nothing, it stunk. Stay in Space Hotel. The location!. Nothing. Room was smaller than expected (cramped a bit), kitchen was rather dirty in some areas, there wasn't a rule to prevent smokers from smoking within a certain distance of the hostel doors (e.g 3m). Rooftop closes too early. everyone sitting on there laptops and phones all day and night in the main rep!!!. Pillows - too thin Not being able to be placed on the same floor as my friends i was travelling to see. The queues at check in and check out time... There could be more made out of the lovely roof top. The bathroom roof had paint flaking off it. Toilets were dirt. Was not told about a towel for a shower by the staff and it was my first visit and I didnt have one with me so not able to take a shower. Lots of noise from pipes through room. Lots of noise coming from other rooms. Should have a time that is recognised as lights out that can be considered okay within dorm. Showers had paint pealing from roof. The whole place had the smell of mould and decay, there was quite a lot of mould and mildew in the bathroom. There was only the one main light in the room, so it was not appreciated when someone turned it on (directly over my head) early in the morning. Even one bedside lamp would have been an improvement. The noise - could hear every word coming from next door. Could not sleep!. unfortunately very smelly But i guess There is nothing you Can really do in a hostel this big. be at breakfast in tim otherwise There is nothing gonna be left. Free Airpot shuttle bus until 6pm so if your flight late you can't use free shuttle. Dirty, especially the bathrooms. Too noisy. Disgraceful for the price and what type of accommodation it is. It is too expensive for a backpacker's stay. Dirty Cold (no heaters). Reception asked different sum than on booking. Booked a private room and couldn't stay the night, it smelled appalling. Aside from that it was tiny, you couldn't swing a cat in there. Dirty, smelly and old.. The worst place I've ever slept! Terrible!. No storage for your luggage in rooms One socket between 6 people Toilets were disgusting Beer out bar taps was terrible Overpriced. Stay at space hotel. Far better for the same price.
