We loved absolutely everything. My wife & I stayed in the Gold Tower accom. and we were so impressed with the old charm luxury of our room. It made us feel so relaxed, comfortable and content that we had finally found the 'one' hotel that got it right for us! The one hotel that has been eluding us for so long. The bed was fantastic and its the first time we have slept right through without waking because we couldn't get comfy. The view, the staff, the facilities were all A1...saving the bes.
all reviews » The delux room with Kingsize bed was like a dream to me and my friend. A lot of space, beautiful and the bed! The best one I have ever slept in :) The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would love to go back!. Spacious and well equipped self contained apartment. Spectular view from 9th floor room Suitable for a family of 2 adults and 2 young children. Convenient location to shops, beach and dining. Very comfortable beds and a stunning view. Room service always good, staff and food excellent. And breakfast in the hotel restaurant is always great, especially the pouched eggs. The view, not many hotels have balconies that you can actually sit out on and have an ocean view the rooms were spacious and clean, and of course the restaurant was spectacular. The room layout & the breakfasts were excellent. Customer service was excellent. The Chefs were very obliging & the food was fantastic. Rooms was spotless, very clean, we had a oceanview room which was great mind you it cost an additional $20 per night, staff were very friendly. Enjoyed my stay. Waitress at the revolving restraint did not return to table enough. would have drank lots more wine if she would have ask!. Housekeeping were very professional and friendly. The ease at which the friendly girl at reception allowed me to extent my check-out time. it feels like we are coming home every time we stay with this hotel. I love this place and will continue to choose you above all others. great location fab views of the ocean lovely pool area and we got our room upgraded staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the gold tower which felt like we were the only people staying there,as there was no one ever at reception , the security there wasn't... anybody can walk in from outside using the outside gate that leads to the pool or even the door at the front. Only two things: There wasn't any working exhaust fans in the bathroom or toilet, so showering & boiling the jug would eventually cause mould problems. You couldn't turn the TV around so you could sit on the balcony & watch TV. Bathroom towels were a bit tired, and some of the room furniture was showing signs of wear, bed was comfortable but a little soft - mattress wise for me, I would stay again but there are problem slightly more modern hotels at similar prices. woken up early in the morning by the children in the room next door. I didnt like the two seperate reception and main foyer areas of both towers, yet this area of the gold tower sits unattended and almost neglected. the continental breakfast lacks fresh ideas and is very boring and tasteless sorry!. nothing negative to say about this hotel. a couple of places had not been cleaned completely at the edges of the bathroom/wc/change area floor junctions. Not many restaurants nearby. The same issue with the majority of hotels in Australia.....expensive internet. How long will it be before Australian hotels catch up with Europe and the US with this and offer free connection?. none. The part where we had to leave, cried all the way home. Every thing good... But didn't know the place I stayed that called gold tower which is too quite and away from the main building.. Would love to stay in main tower which has more noise and people... Thanks. Stuck indoors all weekend due to servere storm. TV and movies were very expensive. Not recomended if bad weather is going to keep you indoors. Meals OK no recomendations. Access and exit of car parking. deposit it takes too long to go back into your account we always go to the four winds for dinner usually on a sat night this time fri night wasnt as good. No one helped us carrying our luggage from the reception to the room. A bit Far from caville area. nothing. bed to soft. Old Room Expensive Bed Room facilities. Food was horrible Place was out dated and looked old, needs to rebuilt.
