Our first im pression was the friendly helpful staff, arriving 9pm late friday night. Very refreshing. Then it was the comfortable spacious room with great views of the city lights. We could leave the car in secure car park and walk to the shops. Ideal. Will definitely be back again .As I have worked in administration in motels in the past year , I am very fussy and know what im after in service . You guys nailed it , Your manager should be proud.
all reviews » We loved the view from our room and the fact that the 2 bedrooms were completely separate. Excellent room service, location was just perfect, close to shops and transport. Plenty of room in the apt, didn't feel like we were on top of one another. Great having the 2 bathrooms too! Would definitely stay here again. We especially enjoyed the design of the 31st floor unit. Wonderful view, practically furnished, and spacious. The shower was great! The front desk staff were both friendly and accommodating. We have decided to make Oaks Charlotte Towers our Brisbane stopover in future. Nice city view from the balcony, ideal for a nice glass of wine in the evening. The staff at first missed our request for two single beds, and put us in a room with a double, however upon asking they were very helpful and resolved the situation quickly. The rooms are ok space wise and the balcony is a very nice touch, during the day and at night the view was good, we where in room 2109. Would certainly consider staying again in that room or similar room with same view.Include me on your offers list. Loved how easy it was to find I'm not overally confident driving in the city, but found the hotel with absolutely no stress. Position is fantastic very close to Queen St mall. Obviously being on the top floor, it was a bit noisy at night because of the air conditioning units (I think) that were above us. But nothing a set of earplugs couldn't fix. We got used to it anyway, you have to expect the city to have more noise than the suburbs so it wasn't really an issue. The occasional long wait at the elevator. The slow lift. The long trek from the bedroom to the bathroom!. Didn't have a DVD player , and were not supplied with enough dishwashing liquid or washing powder. and the elevator was very noisy on the floor and took a while to arrive. Cigarette butts inside the outside pool and around the outside area. Bit of a smell in the hallway. Wait for the elevator was a bit long. Parking levels were a bit confusing. No foxtel!!. Water Kettle is not clean sufficiently. A layer of residue hardened at the base of the kettle, so, not very hygenic. Noisy from both traffic and other guests. Could hear someone walking over my head until 3pm. Despite no party rule, the hotel seems to attract young revellers. Gym equipment needs updating, particularly the treadmills. only one towel eash,but thats no big issue. Nothing that I don't like. We stayed with friends it was a little inconvenient with the 2 different lifts not being able to access each others floors. I have previously expressed my concern over parking costs and anoth is the security deposit and the reluctancy to take care of it immediately on leaving. No comfortable lounge chairs - just a deep lounge. we were happy with everything. The stereo should be updated. Most people have music on their phone and you can't plug anything into the stereo to listen. Lift was a little temperamental, if someone selected a floor above your number, your stop was cancelled. Had a few too many rides up to the top floor. Not enough of things such as sugar, tea coffee, milk and toilet paper in the room. Quite expensive for what it is considering there is no mini bar or spa. Could use some coffee mugs, instead of small cups. More than 1 teaspoon would be good too. Housekeeping failed to turn up on one day. foul odour throughout accommodation floor on one of the evenings limited transport to beach. not much. The lifts could take a while. No decaf coffee. We couldn't turn the air con in our room up. it was stuck on 20 degrees. Asked for twin room got a king bed ; no in room info on facilities eg. TV or pool. room door lock - problems with key in lock. No bath tub. i enjoyed everything.
