  Exactly as reviews say: a comfortable family-run hotel with helpful staff and excellent full English breakfast. I appreciate that hotel owner did her best to deliver twin room for us although during booking only double rooms were available. Thanks again for this! Very reasonable prices and large choice when using the Hotel bar. Breakfast very adequate (fresh fruit,cereal) before moving on to freshly cooked items which you can tell are all freshly prepared.   The staff were friendly and very helpful and the location was easy to get around with the local bus service across the street. - It was a good deal for the money. The beds were soft and we rested well. The staff was extremely helpful.

  Great hotel was in a great location for where we wanted to be. Good trAnsport links either bus or overground. Hotel has a pub underneath that is huge and full of character. Had to admit then I was worried it would be rough before we walked in, but the staff were lovely, very friendly and even met some of the locals who were great.   Very comfortable and still cheap hotel in London. This hotel is ideal for tourists who wants to visit London and uses hotel just for accomodation. The hotel ofers "fully-equipped" kitchen, so everyone can prepare breakfast/dinner as he/she whish. Building contains company's offices so double check if arriving outside their hours. Only 7 minutes walk from Victoria line tube.   Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal, bra frukost. Närhet till tågstation och bussar in till city samt närbutiker. Kort sagt ett OK hotell för en rimlig slant inte allt för långt från sevärdheter och attraktioner i London. - Det gick att få hjälp med dem frågor och önskningar vi hade. Skön säng.

  The room quality was very high, everything was clean and well maintained. The facilities of the room were very respected on our trip, the tv was excellent, the air con was very helpful and needed, the kettle was used endlessly. The live music on the Saturday night was top quality, pure entertainment. - Location was perfect for easy access to olympic village and stratford centre. Would recommend the cart and horses to anyone who enjoys getting away for the weekend and socialising with a few drinks and good music!

  They have a friendly staff and had British adapters for loan during your stay. The breakfast was made to order, delicious, very good coffee. The hotel reception is co-located with a pub on the ground level and the rooms are on the next two floors. The London-Stratford train/bus station is a 7-10 minute walk which can be convenient if flying in and out of Stansted. Free internet wa - This accommodation was great value, very good price compared to other hotels in the area. It clean and comfortable and very close to Stanford station and westfield shopping centre. We didn't arrive till 12 midnight because or journey was delayed but the staff were there ready to check us in. Breakfast was basic but fine. I Will visit this hotel again when staying in London.

But the stay over there was just wonderful and their hospitality is worth mentioning. If i go there another time, i would stay there only.

  My brothers and I found Silk House to be perfect for our needs. The staff are very welcoming and are more than happy to help with any question. The family rooms were clean and comfortable,all the facilities suited our needs. The location was perfect for us as we were working in Hackney. Had hour-long conversations with them every night. Often had cake and fruit for the guests. Rooms + bathroom were both clean (cleaned every morning). Overground station is 3 minutes walk away.
