  Our expectations were significantly exceeded: brand new hotel fitted out to a very high standard; excellent location within a few minutes of both Portaria and Makrinitsa; set back from road with ample parking and space for children to roam and play; simple but very nice breakfast selection; attractive/pleasant lounge/reception area; beautiful view... wat mensen zeggen » s of Makrinitsa village...and most importantly very nice owner and staff who are very proud of their hotel and really went that extra mile to make us - the hotel is new ,good facilities excellent envoirment nice place ,nice viwe of Volos city.very nice pepole ,warm and friendly .we have had best time and we recommend it!!

  A lovely traditional hotel in the centre of a mountain village with stunning scenery and great places to eat . The staff were very friendly and helped make a very relaxed holiday . The mountain location doesn't lend itself to a 'wild nightlife' ( which can be found in Volos .. 30min drive ) but there are lots of lovely restaurants which are suit... wat mensen zeggen » able for both children and adults alike. There are wonderful walks from the village and the Pelion has amazing beaches about 30 minutes drive away .. - Our host was hospitable, friendly, very knowledgeable about the area, made extensive recommendations for a delightful day trip. The hotel was beautifully decorated, lodge-like, the rooms clean, comfy, with fine views of the square below... and so quiet! I felt like we were staying in someone's home, our host made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommended!

  Hotel ilianna has got great views of the sea,great comfortable facilities,cosy rooms with chimneys. They provided us with delicious home made breakfast. It is a very nice traditional village,close to the ski resort and to the sea and close to the airport. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and always making sure we were comfortable.   The location was lovely and very peaceful - perfect for exploring the Mt Pelion area; the facilities were fantastic - an absolutely beautiful home away from home; but what made it so enjoyable was the incredible hospitality and graciousness of our host Marina and her daughter. They were so warm and welcoming and brought us amazing home-made local ... wat mensen zeggen » foods every day. They told us (and took us to) all the best places to visit and eat out and knew exactly what we would like. For my first visit back t - A small hotel , quite luxurious , clean and quiet . The owner was most accommodating and friendly . Last but not least - the breakfast is to die for ! Excellent doesn't begin to describe it .
