We ve been to many luxurious hotels around the world and this one despite the fact that it has no luxurious facilities like spas etc its magnificent views, warm atmosphere, cosy and clean rooms, picturesque surroundings are definitely rewarding - The breakfast was fabul... wat mensen zeggen » ous. The staff was very friendly. This small hotel is the perfect place to go to relax and get away with family or friends.

  We liked the quaintness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The room was clean and bright with a view to the coast below. I would highly recommend Filoxenia and the town of Portaria. Hope to return one day. Oh, and breakfast was great!

  Pros : centrally located , with its own parking (open and covered places), very quite, 2min by foot from Portaria's square (where you can find restaurants,cafeterias,mini markets etc).Rooms spotlesly clean,towels changed everyday.Centrally well heated with A/C in case you need it.Great spacious room with excellent view to Makrynitsa, a village nea... wat mensen zeggen » rby and Volos (we had a corner triple room on the 1st floor).Beautifull breakfast, served from 8-11.30 (so you can wake-up late) full of local product - We were given a very warm welcome upon arrival, along with a drink, which was a lovely touch.
