The Hotel was just fantastic. It is located 0.5 km from Portaria which makes it cheaper and at the same time very close to the traditional villages and Volos. Our expectations were significantly exceeded: brand new hotel fitted out to a very high standard; excellent location within a few minutes of both Portaria and Makrinitsa; set back from road with ample parking and space for children to roam and play; simple but very nice breakfast selection; attractive/pleasant lounge/reception area; beautiful view

A lovely traditional hotel in the centre of a mountain village with stunning scenery and great places to eat . The staff were very friendly and helped make a very relaxed holiday . The mountain location doesn't lend itself to a 'wild nightlife' ( which can be found in Volos .. 30min drive ) but there are lots of lovely restaurants which are suit

Our host was hospitable, friendly, very knowledgeable about the area, made extensive recommendations for a delightful day trip. The hotel was beautifully decorated, lodge-like, the rooms clean, comfy, with fine views of the square below... and so quiet! I felt like we were staying in someone's home, our host made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommended!
