  This is the first time I am writing a review but Nikos and Vagelitsa were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt a need to share my wonderful experience. Excellent homely food, peace and tranquility, picturesque location were factors that made this trip memorable. I will be soon returning to Scala!

  The location of the hotel is about 1,5 km behind the the main beach area with all the beach coffee houses, bars and beach supermarkets. It is about 100 m from the beach. It has several rooms. Looks like 4 of them (2 lower and 2 upper floor) with sea view. We had one of the lower floor with our own entry. The breakfast (in case you order) was serve... wat mensen zeggen » d to our terrace. We heard the sea waves at night. The owner (Dimitry) was very nice and cooks very nice specific food for diner (best you ask during - The owner Demitri is hospitable and generous.The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The beach is only 30 metres away and is a white sandy, clean dream with clear deep blue water lapping onto the shore. The hotel has its own sunbeds for guests to use which was most appreciated. You need a taxi to get there but it is worth the 20 euros as it is far away from the masses and incredibly peaceful for somewhere so beautiful.

  Stayed at the beautiful Medusa Resort in July. I can't recommend this place highly enough - It's biggest asset, apart from the incredible location, is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to make our stay wonderful! The breakfasts were lovely, with enough choice to cater for anyone. Medusa Resort l - We stayed at the Medusa Resort one week in September and we really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we got an room upgrade and had a nice room with a big balcony! The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach).   very quiet position (but near to a few tavernas), shop next door with great selection, good quality and well priced food on site, excellent breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, very big and comfortable room (clean and new), nice pool and pool area, access to bus if you need it (it is possible to travel by bus to/from Naxos town). Family size room was very large and was great for the 4 of us. Site is clean and quite simply elegant. Food is delicious and all from local farms - such a treat!!

  Na een rondreis door griekenland vonden wij de rust, de aandacht en het einkand leven heerlijk. Mooie grote kamers, heerlijke zwembaden, genoeg plek om rustig te zitten. Vlakbij het strand, 5 tot 10 minuten lopen. De taverne aan het strand is ook een aanrader. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf!!! - -The staff was incredibly friendly.We g... wat mensen zeggen » ot there after midnight and they kindly waited for us. -Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food and deserts. -The entire resort was very nice and quiet, however renting a car would be recommended - Excellent resort, very friendly and professional staff. A little bit far from other places, but therefore extremely quiet and relaxing. Ideal for any type of vacations. We would go back for sure.
