  This is the first time I am writing a review but Nikos and Vagelitsa were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt a need to share my wonderful experience. Excellent homely food, peace and tranquility, picturesque location were factors that made this trip memorable. I will be soon returning to Scala!

  Our stay was very good. The room was nice and well equipped. The bathroom was small but with a very good shower with a curtain (not always we found it in Greece) and window with a very useful mosquito net (2 out of 3 windows had mosquito nets). We had also a table and two chairs outside the main door of the room (under the bougainvilleas) and anot... wat mensen zeggen » her little space where to put beach towels and swimsuits. Tony and his family are very kind. Tony offered us a bottle of Raki during our stay, and whe - Away from the tourist places you discover Naxos from the original and quiet side. The evenings on the terrace with their bougainvilleas you can relax the soul. Take the advantage of the opportunity to rent a scooter or quad in the house because the public bus only runs 5 times a day. A small supermarket and 2 typical restaurants and the sea are 400m from the house. Beautiful clean beach with fantastic view of Paros during the sunset. Helpful hotel owner and ideal for families.

  The location of the hotel is about 1,5 km behind the the main beach area with all the beach coffee houses, bars and beach supermarkets. It is about 100 m from the beach. It has several rooms. Looks like 4 of them (2 lower and 2 upper floor) with sea view. We had one of the lower floor with our own entry. The breakfast (in case you order) was serve... wat mensen zeggen » d to our terrace. We heard the sea waves at night. The owner (Dimitry) was very nice and cooks very nice specific food for diner (best you ask during - The owner Demitri is hospitable and generous.The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The beach is only 30 metres away and is a white sandy, clean dream with clear deep blue water lapping onto the shore. The hotel has its own sunbeds for guests to use which was most appreciated. You need a taxi to get there but it is worth the 20 euros as it is far away from the masses and incredibly peaceful for somewhere so beautiful.

  Stayed at the beautiful Medusa Resort in July. I can't recommend this place highly enough - It's biggest asset, apart from the incredible location, is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to make our stay wonderful! The breakfasts were lovely, with enough choice to cater for anyone. Medusa Resort l - We stayed at the Medusa Resort one week in September and we really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we got an room upgrade and had a nice room with a big balcony! The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach).   Mikri Vigla is a quiet resort right next to the beach. It is the perfect 'getaway destination'. The beach was lovely and clean and the sea was calmer than the other beaches we visited along the west coast. Oasis Studios is a great hotel, it is no frills but the staff are more than happy to help with anything you need. Spacious beautiful yard with lots of flowers and trees, a playground for kids, separated from parking place.   Na een rondreis door griekenland vonden wij de rust, de aandacht en het einkand leven heerlijk. Mooie grote kamers, heerlijke zwembaden, genoeg plek om rustig te zitten. Vlakbij het strand, 5 tot 10 minuten lopen. De taverne aan het strand is ook een aanrader.
