  This is the first time I am writing a review but Nikos and Vagelitsa were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt a need to share my wonderful experience. Excellent homely food, peace and tranquility, picturesque location were factors that made this trip memorable. I will be soon returning to Scala!

  The location was perfect, the owner Mario could not be faulted for the welcome he gave us. Information about area and where to find taverns supermarkets etc. He even supplied chairs to take to the beach. We had a wonderful time and will certainly return.

  Our stay was very good. The room was nice and well equipped. The bathroom was small but with a very good shower with a curtain (not always we found it in Greece) and window with a very useful mosquito net (2 out of 3 windows had mosquito nets). We had also a table and two chairs outside the main door of the room (under the bougainvilleas) and anot... wat mensen zeggen » her little space where to put beach towels and swimsuits. Tony and his family are very kind. Tony offered us a bottle of Raki during our stay, and whe - Away from the tourist places you discover Naxos from the original and quiet side. The evenings on the terrace with their bougainvilleas you can relax the soul. Take the advantage of the opportunity to rent a scooter or quad in the house because the public bus only runs 5 times a day. A small supermarket and 2 typical restaurants and the sea are 400m from the house. Beautiful clean beach with fantastic view of Paros during the sunset. Helpful hotel owner and ideal for families.

  Stayed at the beautiful Medusa Resort in July. I can't recommend this place highly enough - It's biggest asset, apart from the incredible location, is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to make our stay wonderful! The breakfasts were lovely, with enough choice to cater for anyone. Medusa Resort l - We stayed at the Medusa Resort one week in September and we really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we got an room upgrade and had a nice room with a big balcony! The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach).   Mikri Vigla is a quiet resort right next to the beach. It is the perfect 'getaway destination'. The beach was lovely and clean and the sea was calmer than the other beaches we visited along the west coast. Oasis Studios is a great hotel, it is no frills but the staff are more than happy to help with anything you need.
