  The staff (Marlene & others) were delightful and extremely accommodating. The "Inn," which is more like a series of villas connected together was beautifully set - perhaps 10 meters from the Beach. A wonderful, rather plentiful self-serve continental breakfast was served on the patio each morning and it allowed us to relax and take in the ocea... what people say » n views and plan the day's activities. We rented a car as Old San Juan is perhaps 5 kilometers away, but an easy drive. If you want to be just outside - The outstanding friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was refreshing. They went out of their way to offer assistance and always were accommodating. A delicious spread at breakfast was very pleasant in the outdoor garden looking onto the ocean. I had forgot my phone charger in the room and the cleaning staff turned it in; I received it when I returned to pick up my bags later in the day. Overall, I give them the highest marks in service, location and amenities. I will definitely be returning

  Hotel is at 1 block distance to the beach. I'ts an excellent budget-firendly choice, perfect location at condado next to up-scale hotels without paying the high price. It's an old construction but room had private bath, flat screen TV with cable and was very clean. Price included hot breakfast, which you rarely find in other high priced hotels in... what people say » the area. Would definitely stay again. - Big room, comfy bed, lots of pillows, value for money (approx $100 per night), excellent location close to everything but back off main road so it was quiet, friendly staff, good shower & water pressure.   The hotel is in a great location, on a popular street in Old San Juan. It's beautifully restored and decorated with a Moroccan flair. There is no elevator, but that just adds to the uniqueness and authenticity of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms, though small were clean and thoughtfully decorated. Staff and owner very friendly and helpful.--Help carry luggage upstairs and downstairs. Owner says that plans are in the works for an elevator. We would stay there again.

  This is a very nice hotel and I hope to go back next year. The staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. I liked having the pool right outside my door and being able to relax in it 24/7. The beach is also very close and seemed more private than the other area beaches. The Niche (hotel's restaurant) was also very nice and Donna that works in the restaurant was very friendly and - I only stayed one night and because of circumstances it was a last minute call. From the moment I called they were helpful courteous, and from the moment I arrived I felt home. The staff was friendly and accommodating they have me a great room it was clean and cozy. It was right next to the beach and although a city beach it was very pleasant. The price was right and affordable. I would have loved to stay there longer. I recommend it.

  My family has been staying there for decades every time we vacation in PR -- since back when it was double the size, a beautiful pool, and dozens of iguanas in the patio!   I was so pleasantly surprised about this hotel! It was so clean and the staff so friendly. The location is amazing! The beach is so calm and great for swimming and there is a coral reef in easy swimming distance from the shore! The town of Patillas was such an escape.
