The staff (Marlene & others) were delightful and extremely accommodating. The "Inn," which is more like a series of villas connected together was beautifully set - perhaps 10 meters from the Beach. A wonderful, rather plentiful self-serve continental breakfast was served on the patio each morning and it allowed us to relax and take in the ocean views and plan the day's activities. We rented a car as Old San Juan is perhaps 5 kilometers away, but an easy drive. If you want to be just outside.
all reviews » The outstanding friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was refreshing. They went out of their way to offer assistance and always were accommodating. A delicious spread at breakfast was very pleasant in the outdoor garden looking onto the ocean. I had forgot my phone charger in the room and the cleaning staff turned it in; I received it when I returned to pick up my bags later in the day. Overall, I give them the highest marks in service, location and amenities. I will definitely be returning. Just a few miles east of San Juan center city in a nice residential area, this is an ideal location...right on the beach! We walked about 10 minutes to dinner at one of several area restaurants, fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves, and took a swim in the morning with a refreshing dip just steps from our door. We recommend! Plus it's a great value with a good breakfast included in the rate. We like location- very close to the beach ( not offten in San Juan ), and attidue od staff - helpful. Hotel is nice, clean,some rooms unfortunatelly situated close to all engines of machines so that it disturbs in night. Small calm hotel, ideal for a couple of travellers.Atmosfere rather for middle aged peolpe, or searching calm hotel and locality - not walking distance to bars and center. The location is just across from the beach, in a quiet residential neighborhood and near a park. There is a patio with hot tub overlooking the ocean. The grounds are adorable, have a pool and hammocks. A very good breakfast is provided, as well as beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards. The staff is lovely. We had a rental car and had no problems finding street parking. The staff was great. . Location was excellent. It is in front of the beach and the hotel is private. I loved that is a small hotel so the pool was always empty. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks. They have fruit trees around the hotel! Liked there was a kitchen they let you use anytime. On the roof there is a grill if you want to use it. Air conditioner was strong. While not a luxury hotel, I loved that the small pool and roof top hot tub were extremely clean. The staff was super nice and I liked staying in a neighborhood that was on the ocean. Not a place for someone that is looking to stay in the tourist area. The air conditioning was great as well as plenty of pillows and towels. The location was a plus and a minus. The beach local was great, but there was nothing else around. The hotel was clean, we had a nice mini kitchen, with full sized refrigerator, and a microwave. The grounds were well maintained and comfortable. This place was better than described. Very private intimate beach house. Lush vegetation, fountains and pools at every turn. Beautiful deck, amazing views. Staff went out of their way to accommodate. service was great the island was great we rented a car and drove around the island. Across the street from the beach. The employees are very helpful. Beachside location for relaxation after a cruise. we upgraded to the one and only suite in the hotel for added comfort and the view for the last 3 nights of our stay. Not suitable for business travelers. Location is in a residential neighborhood, not within waking distance to restaurants or shops. Very basic environment. Most disappointing in every respect. I was surprised to see it was rated by 8.7, what a misleading information. Not a negative but be advised you need a car if you stay here (although we did see a bus on a nearby main street). Far away from social events, center. The rooms are small which made our trip hard because we were travelling with a young baby. It is easy to hear other people. Room was small. . But I did get the cheapest room. Shower was tight. The room could have been a little cleaner but it wasn't bad. I did find hair in the bathroom more than once that was not mine. There was no tissues in the room either and no extra toilet paper. The waterfall outside my room was a bit loud and the shade on my window didn't cover it well so I felt like people could see in if they wanted to. The location was a plus and a minus. The beach local was great, but there was nothing else around. The soundproofing between rooms was lacking a bit. Nothing. It was perfect. .Would be helpful with a little shared honesty guest kitchen area with access to fridge/freezer and microwave and hot water 24/7 due to cost of taxis to town. The standard rooms are a little small for £95 a night. We stayed for one night in this room. The rooms/bathrooms felt a bit small, but since there were ample seating areas outside (not to mention two hammocks!!) we didn't spend much time inside anyway. Quality of food offered. TINY room. The rooms are VERY small. Really not enough room to move around in. Not a luxury guesthouse at all. Would have preferred a few restaurant options closer to the hotel. A little bit of a walk to Candado. Rooms were fine and clean, but nothing speacial. It wasn't on a bus route. The hotel needs some repairs. Small ones, but anyway. parking spaces. Shower could have been better. quite far removed from shops and restaurants. nothing. Did not like the distance to walk to restaurants. Bathroom shower leak night and day noisey. Not too near restaurants and other services. Distance from eating areas. Very small room, rather shabby.
