Airden House is a friendly and clean bandb. great location, 5 mins walk into town centre.very enjoyable experience , staff were fantastic and rooms great , breakfast very good. It was warm one evening, the duvet was too warm, and without a covering, it was a little cool.Restrictive times for breakfast 8.30-9.15am. A few light bulbs missing and a broken toilet seat which you do not expect in a superior room!. Shower not brilliant, but a small problem and the only one. Overall very good. Breakfast time could be served untill 10 am. The fact that there was no one there to greet us when we got there, we were sitting outside and if it wasnt for someone who was staying there to come out we would have been sitting outside for a while. The room is very timy, even compared to other hotels in England.Shower was extremely small. In spite of cheki-in possible time,there was not any receptionists and we had to waste out time waiting for coming back to a receptionist fora long time.our room was up in the attic with a very steep narrow staircase. The central heating was off after 8.30am and didn't come back on until late afternoon therefore the room was cold during the day and meant you could not spend time there.Given the cost of the room the heating should be on all day.
