- Our 2-room apartment was very spacious. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowed our travelling party of 4 to stay comfortably. The living and dining area provided us with ample space to congregate, have meals, chill out and even to carry out some basic housekeeping. - The interior of the apartment was spotless and pleasing. From the minute we arrived we felt that wow factor. The staff treated us like VIP's and were so accommodating and friendly. Service was quick and always with a big smile. On seeing our room we were like a group of kids at Christmas. It was amazing!! We all wanted to live there. Kitchen facilities are great and the milk etc left for us an added bonus. Loccitane products in the bathroom a great touch. We didn't get to use the cocktail tea lady but will make sure we do next time. The pool looks lo. I loved the fact that I did enjoy, on my request, a specific room which actually was an upgrade (and I didn't know that at first) for the same price. The cleanliness and the simple but highly designed decor made me feel like at home straight away. The plus is about the staff who answered my e-mails very quickly, nicely and clearly. They introduced us to their restaurants, which we didn't try because of different plans but it looked absolutely tempting. And indeed, we will go back to try it. I . Loved the Art deco furniture in the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in. The Kitchen was really well equipped with added extra's that make the difference like a good coffee machine and coffee and lots of free bottled water in the fridge. Staff were very helpful both before and during our stay and the location is only 1 stop from Liverpool street station so close to great markets and restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this hotel to a friend. The staff make the place. And after that everything is just as good. Brilliant and beautifully furnished public areas. A sense of space I've seldom enjoyed at this price level. Unbelievable food (only ate at The Corner Room but...) and stunningly comfortable, spacious and well designed rooms/apartments. Didn't get to try the pool/gym but was told it was just as splendid as the rest. Am already booking my next two stays. For an extended stay (I was there 11 nights), it doesn't get much better than this (a 1-BR apartment). Close to The City, reasonable distance from the West End, etc. Far more spacious than the typical London hotel room, and when the property was renovated, whoever was responsible for designing and equipping the rooms did a terrific job with the cooking and bathing areas. Turn-down service with cookies, yum. We had a lovely stay in Town Hall Hotel. The apartment (sitting room, kitchen and two bedrooms) was a wonderful surprise. It felt like stepping into the fifties, but with all modern amenities. Very friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is situated very close to Bethel Green underground station (Central Line). Many restaurants are in the neighborhood. Staff were very friendly and attentive, always greeted us by name. The pool was a great way to relax after a day out. Location in east London was vibrant and fun. Close to tube so easy to get around. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was very handy and free wifi was welcomed. A fantastic hotel and experience. The staff were all friendly & very helpful.The bed was extremely comfortably, with a beautiful goose down quilt. It was near the tube and train stations and bus stops to central London. The apartment was very well equipped. Wish I had booked for longer. Would have liked to spend more time in Victoria Park. Amazing Hotel with polite friendly staff and great for ease by either tube or overground train being close by (within) 400 yards. We took our 2 year old girl and she loved it. I loved that the location allowed us to be away from the extreme crowds. We chose an apartment and it was so nice to be able to eat in for breakfast and quick meals. We also loved having a space to be together at the end if the day. I loved the design, it's presentation and the fact that your extremely attentive staff all seemed very aware of it and were genuinly proud to work there. The location is perfect for travel in and out of town at any hour. Tastefully done up apartments, clean and comfortable. Not far from the underground and has laundry facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff...had a problem with one window and it was remedied that day. Top marks. We went for a weekend in Shoreditch and stayed in an apartment at the Town Hall. It is a very cool hotel, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend it highly. Wonderful rooms, bathroom with beautiful tub, very friendly and helpful staff, and the best gourmet room service /breakfast you can imagine. Did I mention the swimming pool long enough to enjoy doing a few laps... everything was perfect. we were so lucky to be upgraded to a gorgeous executive apartment on arrival. Location to the Underground was not a long walk and easy to access other tourist attractions through the public transport. Only having to leave :-(. Well...if I have to find something wrong... that would probably be the area, I was expecting a "posh" looking area and it might be. At least, it's certainly very trendy and if you're a Street Art amateur such as we are, you'll be amazed by Brick Lane and around.. what about terrible stories? A "Jack the Ripper" walk can also be organised if you plan it in advance. ;). Hot corridors and lack of a bar on Monday. Not much at all really ;). Furniture in the sitting area not up to the rest of the unit, and the working desk was a bit awkward, but these are both very minor points. There is not much of a view, but as this is the East End of London, I did not expect one. The designer did try to camouflage this with a very nice metal screen. We could see out but when outside the hotel you could not see in. Just the location although access to the city was easy it was just the surrounding area of the venue. But that wouldnt put me off staying again as the iside more that made up for it. Hard to fault, except for the dangerous metal electrical covers in the floors. The are 2 in G15 that are stuck open and that will cost you a lot of money in compensation should an unfortunate guest cut open their toe/foot. Ouch!. Nothing. Location is a little out but as the Bethnall Green tube is on the Central Line this doesn't matter as you are into Oxford St in 15 minutes. Actually being outside town means you smell the fresh air too... We wished the breakfast had not been so expensive, but that is part of traveling in a big city. The swimming pool was really cold. We complained about it but was told it was the right temparature. Unfortunately the staff at the hotel did not experience my 4 year old son sitting on the side dithering & his teeth chattering. It was even colder the next day...?. No dislikes. The racket in The Corner Room for evening meal. It must be the hard surfaces, & when it was full it was cacophonous!. nozhing. Nothing. no pillow menu-pillows were rock hard. Overpowering smell of chlorine in the pool,it could even be smelt on the 3rd floor.Both these were mentioned to reception on checkout. Didn't have American style coffee maker. main negative is location, as it is in the east end. the surrounding area looks run down but actually lots of people walking around, even at night. need to get transport to the tourist areas, but this is reasonably easy with a tube stop not too far away. we stayed here for 10 days over three weeks - no-one seemed to note this, poor communication. The tariff went up for our second stay so quite pricey. The lobby of the hotel seemed dark and old. I felt like I was walking into an old government building. It didn't match the cleanliness and sophistication of the guest rooms - which were very nice. Nothing. Corneroom 'walk-in' restaurant had a sort of new world tapas menu. This did not suit the conventional eaters in our group. Car parking can be awkward and potentially unsafe if left in local roads. No thought about families with children has gone into providing a child friendly menu in either of the restaurants so we had to eat out elsewhere. It's a bit hard to find things in the area, which is variable. You need to hunt down bars restaurants etc and sometimes they are well hidden. nothing. The area (Bethnal Green). The bathroom is designed in such a way that the shower unfortunately splashes all over the show - the whole floor gets wet. Need to look into alternatives there. Restaurant(casual) too expensive and pretentious. Location dodgy. nothing, the place was amazing!!!.
