Although known in advance, the fact that adjacent hotels had to be used for bar and restaurant facilities was a bit of an inconvenience.

No facilities in the hotel itself and you had to go next door if you wanted breakfast. Also the noise at night made it very difficult to sleep as we were situated at the front of the hotel.
The room was very small, in the basement. For 146 in the weekend is really expensive. No breakfast in this price.
Guest lounge is a bit small.
Some machine-like noise coming from above (the roof?) every night and disturbing my sleep. Told the staff, but they can't locate the source of the noise.
Also, towels were worn out and have a funny smell.

Poor quality thin bath towels.
The staff were unfriendly and a bit stiff in their manner. I paid £500 for 4 nights in a tiny room in the basement which didn't include breakfast (£17 extra for continental) or Internet. They changed the towels daily, which was nice for me but not very eco friendly!.
Not really a four star hotel. A bit shabby in places.
