The staff were friendly and very helpful and the location was easy to get around with the local bus service across the street. It was a good deal for the money. The beds were soft and we rested well. The staff was extremely helpful. The staff where very friendly and helpful it was close to the tube for the city. Ideal location for Olympic Park events - perfect 'bed for the night'.

More attentive staff now. Had a good experience. Will stay in future again. Cheap and the front desk is open 24-hours. Close to the Stratford train/bus station so it was easy to get to from Stansted at any time. Great location for a football trip to West Ham. Definitely not as bad as some of the other reviews make out. The staff are nice. And the price is cheap. That's why all things are reasonable even it is not very clean. The place is quiet, very close to Stratford station. Nothing was good. They charge 5.00 if u pay with ur debit card !!! No towels available. The room stank and the mattress was really cheap. close to the train station, bus, train. Large shopping center Internet free. The hot water for showers could not seem to get it to work. Didn't really care for the shared bathroom, but we knew ahead of time what we were getting. The bed sunk in the middle making it very uncomfortable. Having to share toilet/washing facilities but ok for a 1 or 2 night stay. Can't expect better for the price in London. Private bathroom is semi-transparent and all sounds can be heard well in the bedroom. The room was a bit messy and the bed made a lot of noise. Not very clean. The noise from reception that invaded the room. it would have been nice if the shower/toilet had opaque glass instead of see through. Some DIY jobs needed to be done in room(replaced light bulbs and shade for centre light fitting). Rooms look tired and worn. Room was very hot as had no air con but was a 31 degree day so just had window open all night. Far from London, but easy to get there on the underground. Just be aware that the underground tickets are rather expensive. Found a bug in our bed and the bathroom was rather dirty. However I can use the bathroom in different floor so it is okay for me. No sink in the room and the romms are far from inviting but who will be picky for such a price?. It is a cheap hostel with a shared bathroom, but it did not have to be so dirty. The hidden £5 charge for using a card which wasn't stated before checking in on arrival. Common bathroom for the whole floor, though it was not mentioned at the time of booking. Buckets not emptyed not accepting scottish money (sterling). tv&shower don't work. There is flea in the room. toilet blocking... wife got itching skin... Room was comfortable, but the noise from the traffic prevented us having the window open. But it was fine for a basic overnight stay. And the TV has no power as well. You need to queue for bath room, quite a lot of people share on bath room, which is not cleaned up. It wa extremely unhygienic. The smell of bleach in the bathroom and bedroom was overwhelming . Although the bedroom and bathroom had just been cleaned there was alot of built up dirt in both rooms. Dirty, cold, staff noisy during the night, shower cold. Stuff was not that friendly. I had a room between the floors and all night people walking up and down. Bad sleep. absolute dump. dirty room,recepsionost not professional,i cant recomend that hotel to anybody. The bath room are filthy. No new towels. Not family hotel. Run down and in need of a good clean. Bed was horrible Toilet and shower distgusting Area really rough. Charge extra when pay by credit card... If you are not in a budget, and you can pay more for accomodation, I would recommend you to do it. The place was dirty and the heating in my room wasn't working. Everything was bad. Bed very cheap, no towels , rip off charges to use card , room stank,. No bathroom in room dirty room old furniture Dirty and old bathroom outside.
