Location: not central, but transportation options are very good, Stratford station is just 5 min walk from the hotel. Room: very good, all necessary for the stay, clean and neat. Cleaning staff did a great job. Maybe a small fridge would be good to have, but that's a minor thing. We were really amazed of how efficient the room space was used. Breakfast: 7.95 per person will not seem much if you compare the prices and quality/quantity of meals offered in neighbouring pubs/snack bars. Fair pric.
all reviews » We were very happy with this hotel. The location is pretty good (in 15-20 minutes you're in the city and there are a lot of shopping opportunities in Stratford), but the most important thing is that it is very clean and modern. We felt very comfortable and slept well there. It is very simple, as you might expect, but for the price, we were very happy. Free WiFi, but not very fast, there is a possibility for an upgrade though. Can only recommend, especially for younger people who want to see the. The room was very nice and clean. I've heard that London hotels have small rooms, but the one i stayed in at Ibis was sufficiently large. The bathroom was ok, large shower. I liked the location, being near the Stratford station gave me acces to the town center. Also the Startford Mall Center was nearby. All in all, it was a really nice hotel with an excellent location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room including the bath room is very clean. The nearby tube, railway and bus stations are within 5 minutes walk. lt takes about 30 minutes to get to Central London which is acceptable. Westfield is only within 10 minutes walk. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and great location to Westfield, only a 10 min walk. The hotel and room was very clean. We had a road side room and it was exceptionally quiet inside considering you are in London- on a busy main road. Close by the Stratford Train Station... within 5 min walk behind the Stratford Center Mall, Direct link from Gatwick airport with one change of train at London Bridge station, Close to restaurants, Clean, Comfortable, great Staff and Quiet. The location was excellent for both Westfield shopping centre & the Olymic stadium. The shower was perfect & the bed and pillows were fantastic. The bathroom had only one towel, but the receptionist gave me 2 more on my request. The food served at the hotel is a bit expensive. There is only one chair and the desk is only large enough to place a laptop on in a twin bed room. The towels in my room are old and not fit for use towels possed a lot of health issues if not propperly maintained. Tv programm / news accross the globe should be among the free channels, etc cnn, nta- Nigeria and others. Requested radio in my room was not provided. Hallway has bad ventilation and poor design. I couldn't find anything that I didn't like. Someone knocking at the door very early in the morning.. As a single traveler I didn't like having to pass young skateboarders, homeless people and, one night a group of winos, on the way from train to the hotel at night. The only thing I could complain about was the one occasion I ordered food, I had cheesecake & it had clearly just been microwaved probably because it wasn't properly defrosted. Half of it was warm & melted & the other half freezing cold! Everything else was perfect. nothing. Lack of parking facilities. Bin lacking in room although one was available in bath room.
