closeness to town, clubs and beach. The lady running the hotel was very welcoming and always helpful. She made the stay at the hotel very good and all of us said that we would stay there again. Also it is in a great location for the night clubs.owner available at all times without being intrusive. very nice friendly staff, lovely breakfast. The rooms were very clean. The position of the hotel. No car park means you have to use pay and display up the road but that is the same for every hotel on that street and round that area. en-suite small for adults using it. room was rather small especially shower rooom/wc but given the price Ok. good hotel for weekend, not sure rather cramped for longer holiday. I feel that the room could be modernised a little the 70's carpet and bed spread was just too old fashioned and dark. no parking facilities. The single beds were quite small and so was the shower but overall was clean and tidy. beding very old and matress no relly confortable.breakfast should be self service. mattresses, no parking. not so easy to find.the hotel has to review whether it lets groups of males or females in has we had trouble all through the night with fighting and swearing we had two young children who could not sleep because they had to listen to yobs shouting and swearing up until 5.30am in the morning. very uncomfortable bed. breakfast was a set time 9-9.30 and the food was pre-cooked and re-heated and came with a complimentary hair!! even if we had of missed breakfast there was what can only be described as building work/banging within the hotel/upstairs at just after 9am. also no sheets on the bed, just a quilt with a cover on it, not convinced that it had been changed from the previous guests. no parking, beds were poor. Nice people, but it was a basic Blackpool bandb which is ok if you'reprepared for it - bathroom in a cupboard, terrible decor, out by 10 am -but would be something of a shock if you weren'T.The controls on our shower were reversed, and when we complained aboutnot being able to get hot water we were not told this. My daughters roomwas flooded on Saturday night. She was offered another room, but to useit she would have had to split up her family, leaving childrenunattended. Not acceptable.
