The place is awersome! We stayed for 4 nights and we felt very good! At the reception was permanently a person to give you the key and notice who gets inside. The place was quiet and clean. We order food in our room and the receptionist helped us to make the order. She also helped us to find diffrent places in Istambul. The room was warm and the shower run hot water any time. It was a good place to do shopping, the place is near by a big mall.

Don't really know if I should recommend this hotel because it is a jewel hidden :-) but cannot keep it to myself. Few mins. Walk to Metro and all kind of local shops, restaurants and food stores. Yummy. Will definitely come back again!. Stayed a week at Troya and Mr Orhan and his staff were excellent. They went out of their way to help me and even showed me around the area. I stayed in the top floor apartment which, once you master all the stairs is very nice and has a small balcony which is a sun trap! The location is ok and just one stop on the metro to Taksim. The staff are definitely what makes this place. Troya Residence is very close to Metro station and just 5 min walking to Taksim square. Also 1 min to walk ICC (Conferance Center) Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel price very cheap but hotel is very quality. You can find 24 hours supermarket and restaurants around to hotel. I really advice this hotel. Friendly owner, very clean room, very quiet. Don't be taken aback by the appearance of the street, it is a nice place, just off a busy avenue, about 10 min walk from Taksim square. There is no breakfast, but each room is equipped with a kichenettte and it's easy to make your own breakfast. The stuffs are very helpful and efficient. The suits we had was very small. But it is very typical here in Istanbul. Air conditioning worked well. Good water pressure and hot water. Location was great. Lots of restaurants are close by. Very close to metro station. The staff didn't speak too good English, although everything could be managed... The last day the smell of sewage was picking up! not sure why, we were on the ground floor by the reception. From the first floor there isn't any view but that was ok for us because we were just going to our room for a nap.. After spending 2 days in Istanbul I met some freinds and we decided to visit another city , but when I talked to the hotel . they insist to charge me for the full 7 day,s which I did,not like and make me very upset . the room and dining area is very small, no washing machine. Hot water sometimes gets cold. But this is more a problem of water supply than the hotel itself. The region is under construction. Only for young healthy people. Shower is not good enough, but it is big, that is rare thing for Istanbul. Breakfast was very basic and the same is delivered to the room everyday. There is no place to have breakfast outside the rooms. (2) location is a bit difficult to access, along a back lane although not far from a main street. Big language problem, only one person understands English. size of room is extremely small. It is a modest but clean residence, good for low-budget. boiler noisy at night. without clearing rubbish inside the room. vegetarian breakfast. It was a bit noise - we had stayed at the room/apart next to reception. Location ,.
