I loved the location, directly on patong beach...u dont even need to cross the street...the staff was nice..they offered me an upgrade which I really appreciate. ..The room was clean and excellent. ..The breakfast was wooooooow...u take ur breakfast everyday on the beach...open buffet with everything in it...they fill ur coffee cup without even asking...The hotel is close the hottest area of phuket..steps away from bangla road and all the attractions....WE Loved patong bay garden resort...thank.

The biggest attraction is its closeness to beach and Bangala Road and all Patongs facilities. Having breakfast and Dinner watching the ocean is particularly nice. I believe these are the main and only reasons for staying at this Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful also except that their English is not very good (but heaps better than my Thai!!) and it was hard to comunicate. Nb the next Hotel we stayed at employed an English speaking person for a few hours a day and this was he. I was welcomed very courteously and given an excellent room which was very peaceful. The proximity to the beach was wonderful and I had many beautiful swims in the warm sea, one at night. I enjoyed the massages on the beach. I had two superb suits made by the tailor who is situated in the entrance hall. This was a huge bonus. It was possible to walk straight out of the hotel to the shops which is useful when you have no transport. This hotel is strategically located on the beach ( one of only a handful), in the midst of the shopping , dining and entertainment district. The hotel had a safe feeling and had all the amenities expected. The rooms and facilities were immaculate. The pool was great. The restaurant convenient and the food was excellent..especially the breakfast buffet. A great value. This was our first stay at the Patong Bay Garden and we will be back.... The friendly staff could not do enough for my wife and I.The location for shopping and night life is superb and the room was very comfortable and relaxing. If anybody is looking for a friendly stay in Patong, we suggest that you try the Patong Bay Beach Resort. This sonkran is the 3rd time we spend our holiday @patong bay garden.And I got a very2 nice surprise.. 13Apr is my bday. ‎After breakfast,we accompanied my daughter swimming,we back to room.and we found.. It seems to be only property directly on the beach around this area. Breakfast is superb with very good morning beach view.. Had a gat stay here at bay garden, stayed for 10 days in total on a recommendation from a friend. Was in the perfect location for everything and also on the beach. Liked the free wifi. The pool and how close the resort was to the beach. (Right at the back door). Would Recommend to young travellers also. This is my 3rd.time in the resort. We moved to Karon Beach after our stay at Patong and had a Hotel with much better facilities at half the price (but not on the beach). There really was not anything that was not up to par. The only slight annoyance was that the pool closed at 7:00 PM..I suppose as it was very near the restaurant..all else was great. The only thing that could be looked at is there food service that we found to be average. They said on Hotel website that Beach chairs are free but I did not get it as they say we only give it to Hotel book from our website & not letsbookhotel.com..Strange.. Nothing that I can say I didn't like. The time share sale rep's around the public area of the resort. Nothing !!!. The service of the hotel needs real improvement. And it is pathetic that after spending so much on the resort, they ask for the charge of an ordinary ashtray, which got accidentally broken. The rooms and resort were older but that was ok !!! As due to the location it didnt matter !!!. given only 1 room key, if i would like to go out and my friend stays in the room (sleeping) i have to ask reception to open the doors for me. like every other hotel they provide 2 keys for guests. another is very poor internet . Room ceiling quite low. 2 HP aircond very near to the bed.Breakfast not so much choice. The food was 50/50, still got room for improvement. Bar near reception served warm drinks & told us we had to return glasses etc? Staff ok but didn't seem overly happy. None applicable. very expensive restaurant (considering the prices in Thailand), the staff on the reception desk was the only staff that didn't smile on our 20 day/ 7 different resorts Thailand trip. The toilet basin and shower not working properly. But, thank for the quick fix by the staff there. View from my room balcony was not good. the view of the hotel from back side, needs little more renovation.but not a major issue. Aircon is make loud noise. Rooms looked a little old but ok still. Staff acts very weird & rude. Rest of the things were amazing. Breakfast was very basic. Little noisy at night, but that should be expected when you are so close to the Bangla rd. No balcony. No clean. air conditioner noisy and never stop when its reach set temp desired. I still found it too expensive. It is a little run down , but adequately. Slow internet wifi. Room had no safe. The firnitures were not good. The bathroom maintenance was not satisfaied. In general, I think there is no monthly or quartrly maintenance for the room's decorations and bathroom. Furnitures are a little bit old. They should renovate to match with the rates. Furnitures a bit old. Noisy. breakast was a little poor. Patong is really a hell hole and I would not stay in this location again.The resort is pretty tired and imo overpriced.Better value is available nearby. Old and dirty furniture Bathroom needs to be changed totally A lot of insects Dirty resturant Breakfast is limited. 1) Small swimming pool but children is ok 2) America breakfast only. Bathroom. Facilities were too basic.
