The Galleria 10 is a new sleek and chic hotel situated on Suhkumvit Soi 10 in the heart of Bangok. The hotel is modern with nicely designed rooms, flat screen tv, king size beds, great bathroom with amenities. Even the corridors are sleek and colourful. The hotels a nice restaurant and bar on the ground floor but I loved the Leap Frog bar and restaurant on the roof top situated next to the pool and outdoor lounge area. Great views of the city from here whilst sipping a cold beer or cocktail. T.
all reviews » All staff were attentive and very nice and professional. The location is outstanding at sukhumvit 21, the central location for all the major malls and attractions. The mrt is walking distance at terminal 21, Asok station that gives you access to the subway and train system, the only way to travel quickly in the city (one of the best in the World). Very good value for the money. The hotel is almost ideally located: in a quiet Soi of Sukhumvit Road, so inherently a quiet area, but only 5-10 minutes walk to the BTS Skytrain stations Asok and Nana. Also, Terminal 21 shopping center is not far. It offers all the amenities one would expect in this price range and hence is a very good choice for Bangkok. Also, breakfast buffet is beyond doubt very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, very modern, clean and comfortable. The rooms were a great size with an excellent shower room. The roof top bar was really well designed which also featured a small pool. A good choice of food was available at the restauant. Will definitely return on our next trip to Bangkok. Very nice park right near by and generally a clean part of the city. The pool on the top is nice and the lounge on the roof is excellent. The rooms were spacious and modern, it's close from the skytrain, a shopping centre, restaurants and bars to go out at night. The staff was helpful. The pool is small but nice. If go again to bangkok I would probably stay there. Excellent location just across the road from Terminal 21 shopping center and the Sky train. Down a quiet side street, but so close to everything. Selection of TV channels not the best. Was assigned a connecting room, could hear sound from next door, not too bad. Room315 is very dusty and there are bugs on bed and floor!. Nope. Cleaning staff need to be more up to scratch.. lack of attention to detail, i ended up with a mountain of soap/shampoo containers in my room and they would throw my toiletries out but leave rubbish.. none. Power went down on one of the days during my stay. It took them about 5 mins to restore it back to normal. The light switches for the bathroom were too far away from the bathroom. None. Deep in the lane, have to walk through 2 blocks taking 5 minutes to BTS station. WIFI is slow and not free, even 3G signal for cell phones is also weak in the room. Find nowhere to place the changed clothes in the bathroom. The shower is not fixable and will turn around by itself when bathing, and the ceiling shower is not working. The shampoo provided is eye-burning. The price rise when I modified my arrival date one day earlier. Overall, not worth this money. drinks at the roof bar are expensive. Nothing. The swimming pool is small and shallow (1.10 meter), so it ok to relax, but not good to swim. the housekeeping was a bit slow after my first night. But for the following days, they came very fast and efficient. That special offers were offered in the Top Floor Bar, and then not honoured. Further Staff, did not understand offers that were posted all over the Hotel. No slippers, no bath robe , lack of view. We ask the staff to bring us blanket but the staff never come to our room and they never inform us whether the blanket available or not and also the hotel provide buggy car but no information put in the website. Room cleaning was a bit slack, especially general vacuuming of carpets and removal of rubbish from bathrooms. However, certain precisions were looked over - like storage & clothes hanging facilities in toilets!?. Some of the stuff at the reception speaks English very hard to understand. There is a smell of moisture in the room which is impossible to get rid of with air condition and windows are sealed of course. -Restaurant good but a bit expensive -Hard to find. You should give the number of the hotel to a cab driver. The smell outside the hotel. The steps leading down to the lobby should be well lit or marked. Otherwise,someone could get hurt missing a step. Breakfast staff could be better supervised. There had been a name change of which we were unaware which made it a bit difficult to find. water temperature in bathroom was difficult to adjust and was always hot check in and check out and front desk info: could be faster and have more info poor fitness center.
