I was there for surgery so I was in the hotel most of the time. The DVD free rental was perfect for me. The service staff from front counter to the housekeeping was really friendly compare to the Heritage which i stayed a few days before i changed hotel. And it is very well kept and clean. Breakfast was ok. the juices are not cold which taste terrible and its not a good brand they use. When there are many guest, you have to be prepared to wait a bit for more breakfast to be served. Taste is ok .
all reviews » We had a trip which required us to come back to Bangkok a few times. Because the other hotel we booked was full for our second time in Bangkok we booked this hotel instead. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We received a free upgrade to a bigger room (which is always good naturally :) ) in the wing adjacent to the building where the reception is. The candies at the reception are a sweet and welcoming touch, as well as the welcome drink. The reception area looks very welcoming and open. The sitting area unlike many other hotels with arm chairs. It was like almost a day bed against the wall near to the windows. I love the water pressure from the shower head and the shower area was of excellent size. Though this hotel had been ard for a few years, the conditions was still pretty good. I like the way in some of the room, the power sockets are well hidden and the fixtures used in the room gave it a tinge of artistic feel. Near to the market which opens Mon-Fri (morning till eveni. I love this hotel. This is the 3 time I have stayed at this hotel. The staff are exceptionally professional, friendly and always willing to help. Glow is in a great location for transport to get around the city. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and tidy. I had a problem with the lock on my door, which the staff delt with quickly and excellently and upgraded my room without question. This they did not have to do but none the less they did. This hotel is excellent value for money and I will . Peony Tea Lounge was soo lovely but i felt the space was under-used as it just serves tea/coffee and some cakes/savouries. It would have done better with an outdoor beer porch or something to that effect. I loved the rooms, bright, clean and spacious. I liked the free wi-fi in the rooms as well. I loved the excellent front desk and concierge people - friendly, smiley and helpful. They were really good. The location was good, about 100 metres from Chong Nonsi bts which is 3 stops from the main shopping area Siam. We did not check out the swimming pool and gym, which was located at another building. The DVD rental was a good option (although movies were not that new) because there was only 1 movie channel (HBO) on cable. There was about 17 channels altogether. Glow is great! The hotel is a fun, modern little boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious, well designed, very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and good amenities. The hotel has a nice restaurant, pool, free wifi, and really nice staff that are pretty helpful if you seek advice. It is also right of a BTS stop which makes travel around the city very easy!. The staff weree very helpful and friendly. Our son loved the pool and it was great to have a 25 metre pool to swim in. The breakfast was very adequate. The rooms were a good size and clean. There was a dvd player in the room and they have a supply of dvds you can watch for free. This hotel was perfect for what we wanted...amazing location right by the BTS station and a short walk from patpong night market. The hotel itself was very nice, clean and modern. The pool across from the hotel is very nice with good views. The breakfast included was nice too. The check in was swift and the staff, very efficient and friendly. We were given a room in the wing, where the rooms were more spacious. We always felt tended to , and smiles were all around. We stayed here last year as well, and I think we will go back next year too. Loved the pool. It's a 25 meter pool where I could really swim proper laps. Gym is also good. Loved that they offer free movies too. The location is excellent. The breakfast is the only weak point. But it's serviceable. Not much fruit and poor selection. the hotel 's lobby is well designed the room is spacious and comfortable . Located closed to silom road and bts . The iPod docket is equipped as well . What it offerered is more than the hotel price . Highly recommend !:). We were very close to the rapid transit train station which was great. About one hour from the airport on this link and 10 minutes to the river for tours and boat rides. Lots of restaurants and a night markerts. best place to be very clean very nice very cute staff every thing was great, we are a gay couple during our honeymoon and got a lot of nice surprises from the staff! we would deffenetly recument and bock again. The walls are really paper thin, you can hear the conversation of the people in the room next to you very good. I reckon that can be a problem in high season (when more rooms are booked) or when you have loud or night owl-neighbours, but we were lucky to have silent neighbours. The floor of the room could be cleaned more thoroughly. The room I was in, the bath room is abit too small. (the shower area was great though) Apparently there was a new and old wing, the new wing I do believe is not 100% completed as there are still renovations going on. I can not fault this hotel. The swimming pool and gym were located in a separate building and did not provide F&B service for hotel guests. It's not an ideal hotel to chill out by the pool and all since you have to kinda cross a small road to get back to the other building where your hotel room is. There was abit of mould in between the wall tiles but that was fine as you don't have to touch the wall when bathing. The room and toilet was very clean! The bed was not a king sized bed but two single beds pushed together. Nothing. The rooms were not too sound proof and we could smell people smoking in nearby rooms. The food in the hotel was ok...but the staff didn't quite understand what we wanted and brought out all the wrong food but then again it's our own fault for not speaking the language!!. the breakfast can be more variety . We pay additional breakfast money but had inadequate to eat . I liked everything. internet kept jumping and was slow. worst view ever (on a very dirty rooftop full of rubbish), but we just closed the curtains - no big problem since in Bangkok you'll never open the windows if you have A/C. The rooms don't really offer any view (but it really doesn't matter). Neighbours can be very noisy (in the corridor and especially if you have one of those rooms with a connecting door to the next room). Love everything. The noise of the AC from outside. First night woke up several times. There are no views from any rooms. It has two buildings so it's a little bit inconvenient to go outside (though not two much). The air-con in our room was too loud. The shower is a danger because of design- I slipped and fractured my arm. Nothing at all :). I booked the hotel about half a year ago, and I requested the kingsize bed. But when i arrived the hotel, they told me due to too many guests, they only have double beds room for me. That's not very reasonable. nothing. Could not find fault. The swimming pool is in another building. Some airconditioner noise. It is 800 baht/ night for an extra person and they only put bedding on a built in very skinny bench in the room. A bit steep for the "extra bed". A little smelly in the room because its new. The air condition did not really work to well and it's very hot in Bangkok. The laminate floor in my room feel uneven and the pillow is too soft. And others just nice. The internet connection was very slow. Totally not helping. No negatives to think of. No quality and value for money massage parlour nearby. nothing. none.
