The staff were really helpful and polite/friendly. They made sure we had a quiet room towards the back (furthest from Sathorn Road, and not on the side facing the Australian Embassy, where the traffic noise seems to come in more). The room was clean and comfortable, with shower, jug, fridge, etc. in working order. They weren't too busy, and there were no package (groups of) tourists, so that made for a pleasant stay :).
all reviews » The hotel is very convenient for embassies in Bangkok. Not very far from some nightlife and night markets you could walk it but I hailed a taxi and it was only 40 thb to get there. The reception is very helpful and the manager could not do enough. Beautiul hotel with nice large rooms. Staff was very helpful and serviceminded. A short walk to bts and Metro, and the hotell would also take you there for free in a tuk-tuk. Great value for money. Will definitely stay there again. Reasonably & comfortable rooms. The Wifi was slow and unreliable, but with some patience we could always re-connect. The TV channels are limited now (this is a change affecting many hotels, since cable operators are moving popular English language channels to their digital services); a few entertainment remain but no news in English. Breakfast was basic but OK considering the promo value now on offer, at least for the economy room. With no window it was quiet, but don't expect a city view!. The taxi drivers had a tad hard time finding the hotel, but mostly because the hotel is very new. the gym facility must be added with more weightlifting machine. Most staffs don't speak English and we were charged for the toothbrush that we did not use. Information say there was a business center.... Price to print a few pages was too expensive. 20 Baht per page. Doors are closed with big noise. Nothing to complain. :). I do like not if we have a lot noise pollution. The Breakfast. Terrible. Have noise sometime from outside room. My room was on 4th floor. The Gym is on 5th floor. Stupid & inconsiderate gym users drop weights making very loud noises which reverberate throughout building. Gym should remain closed until after lunch. Being told it would be 100 baht to use an iron, never been told that before. Iron use should be free of charge, no one could believe that charge, it's not right for any hotel to charge that. The breakfast could have been better. Asked the staff to clean the floors once more. reception staff quite unfriendly. stayed for 7 nights and we didn't see 1 smile the entire time. not very friendly to foreigners. They charged 100baht for renting the umbrella and approx 15 to 18mins walk to bts or sky train station. Very far! Although hotel say tuk tuk is provided but so far we normally take taxis straight from hotel. Breakfast was not very good. Location is far from BTS/MTS. 'Fitness Center' is a joke. 1) Room condition - air-cond leak water 2) Free tuk-tuk only on specific time 3) Small lift. location a bit far around 10 minutes walk to Lumpini MRT station and 20 minutes to Saladaeng BTS. Double bed means two beds stick together. I didn't like it. Television was too small. The location is really a problem. No restaurants or shops in the direct neighbourhood. Lousy wi-fi. Staff not responding to the complain. Horrible staff. I felt cheated. When I booked the room in the description said it had views and wifi. Well, the only views are three white walls and a bathroom. The guests wifi doesn't work in room. The manager wifi signal was pretty good in my room but they didn't want to give me the password so I spent two days working in the room with not internet connections, which is what I was really after to. The bed was awful and did not sleep comfortable, the building a little bit old. Air con soooo loud! I felt like there was a hurricane in the room. No windows in the room. Resturant downstairs very pricy. Check in very long winded. Tv list given in the room completely wrong. very far from BTS. bad attitude of staff never fulfilled any request. This hotel is so nasty. I don't want to step on the floor.
