  The hotel is an absolute gem tucked just steps away from Las Ramblas. I loved the decor- upscale, unique, very elegant, yet simple and almost rustic at the same time. This is definitely not your typical cookie cutter hotel. I spend a lot of time combing thru web sites to find the perfect hotel and this place exceeded my expectations. The staff - This hotel is among the best hotels we visited.! Honestly there was nothing wrong with it. Upon arrival we were faced with a lovely smiling receptionist, the design of the hotel is amazing! A 3* hotel worth for 4* at least! The room was sparkling clean everyday, comfortable bed, ac with cold and hot air flow, young and really helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is in the heart of the city and honestly you pay less but get much more for what you paid! Excellent! Would definitelly go back to B

  I really thought this hotel was excellent, the roof top bar was awesome, only ate at the hotel for breakfast and room service , but it was great, the staff had no problem making special request breakfast for me each day, when i go back to Barcelona this is where I will stay, and I would highly recommend it - Fabulous stay, hotel staff couldn't have... what people say » been more courteous andhelpful. The hotel is right in the middle of everything but you never hear any of the traffic because of the very good double glazing even though we were right on the road. Staff was very friendly and tried to help (we in fact booked a Flamenco show from the front desk). One of the staff - Alex - stood apart and really tried to help as much as possible.

  Excellent location, quiet room. The room was very pleasant and so were the public areas of the hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient and helpful. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. The Avenida Palace is one of the best 4-star hotels in which I have been staying: excellent location, good service, recently renovated room and bathroom, and almost no noise from the street, from the corridor or from other rooms.

  The hotel is completely new. We had the room facing the pool area(cons of the street). The room was very clean with comfortable beds, with enough space, free juices and water in the refrigerator, tea and coffee maker with coffee and tea bags (refilled every day) and with very nice and clean bathroom. Near the hotel there are more than few restaurants where you can eat well at a reasonable price. - The rooms are nicely decorated, the hotel has its own personality, every room is decorated differently. We had a room on the top floor and it came with a large terasse and sunbeds. The bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft. Location is great, just one block from Passeig de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya. Close to the lively tourist area, but still in a less crowded, noisy neighbourhood. Food at breakfast was good, large variety, it's only a cold breakfast. The hotel is brand new, we stayed on
