It offers free entry to the Barcelona Egyptian Museum, located next door. The smart, soundproofed bedrooms feature stylish décor and hand-made furniture. Each one comes with LCD satellite TV, sofa and pieces of Roman, Egyptian and Hindu artwork. The hotel’s Terraza del Claris Restaurant serves gourmet Mediterranean food on the roof terrace overlooking the characteristic rooftops of the Eixample quarter. The Mr Kao Restaurant offers classic recipes from Chinese gastronomy combined with Mediterranean ingredients and local produce. The standards for allotting 5 stars seem easier in Europe than in Asia 3. Price too high. No extract in the bathroom and a smell of drains. Very thin walls: you can easily hear what is going on outside the room, as well as in the neighbouring rooms. Moreover, our junior suite was located on the ground floor between an office and the reception desk (I was not aware that a 5stars hotel is allowed to have rooms on the ground floor), thus it was extremely noisy from the very early hours in the morning till late at night. Too noisy. Need to soundproof the rooms. Room size is rather small.poor standard of room and facilities.
