I really missed tea and coffee facilities I'm ashamed to say!!. rooms on universitad and pelai st are quite noisy. small bar don't make us want to get a drink there. The roof pool is quite windy. didn't find a phone to call for drink service while in the pool. Rooms facing the avenues tend to be a bit noisy, even at a high floor. Staff facilitated us in changing to one on the courtyard and that improved the situation.Also at high floors it is possible to hear the vibrations of the metro. However, this is a common problem of most of the buildings in the center of Barcellona. more services at the desk would have been appreciated ie money changing ability. Found the room to be fairly hot, with air conditioning being difficult to control. Hotel does not have a lot of "atmosphere" - very minimalist foyer and reception; bar area a bit hidden, being on the 1st floor. Housekeeping banging around the halls each day at 8AM...it was like awake-up call unrequested. needed ice machines. Front staff could be more kind and friendly. Glasses in bathroom were not properly cleaned.No complimentary breakfast for the price. Slightly lacked atmosphere. Noise of trains could be heard in bedroom Restaurant La Lluna not a goodrecommendation service very bad. Not informed about the closing down ofthe city centre at 8am on Sunday morning because of some marathon so notpossible to get a Taxi caused a lot of trauma to end of weekend breakone couple actually missed the flight because of this. very noisy from metro, no bar staff at bar, we had a room overlooking a courtyard very dark and overlooked, rooms above were noisy not much sleep! no atmosphere. very noisy I asked for change of room but was ignored, the toilet wasn't cleaned. I had to find the maid myself to get a fresh towel, you had to leave the water running for five minutes before it went warm. for the prices i paid 200 euros for one night I could have found much better accomodation.
