Each villa has a private patio with views of the pools or garden. A private bathroom comes with hot shower facilities. Also included are a minibar with free bottled water. Some rooms have a flat-screen TV. Day tours to the south eastern coast of Upolu or cave tours can be arranged with the hotel’s tour desk. Take home a souvenir from the gift shop. Airport transfers are available at an additional cost. Other services include laundry and luggage storage. Overlooking the pools with an indoor and outdoor terrace is Le Taupou Restaurant, which serves a buffet and a la carte breakfast. It also offers organic, international and Pacific dishes and tapas in the evening. Alili Bar features a grill menu and a variety of alcoholic drinks.

I stayed here for 5 days and I loved it. The staff at Orator are amazing compared to the staff at another Hotel we stayed at. One staff in particular, Ronnie. Such a friendly guy and he made our stay more enjoyable. Everywhere we saw him he would have the biggest smile on his face. The rooms were nice and big and I love shower :) breakfast was delicious compared to breakfast at the other hotel we stayed at. We could go for secods, thirds but at the other hotel we had to pay $10 if we wanted ext.
all reviews » The Orator is great for families, couples and wedding parties etc. They also know how to be helpful to business travelers as well. By offering a business package that includes, all meals, laundry services, etc. Now if you are looking for comparable accommodations to lets say Hawaii, Samoa is not quite there yet, however if a personal touch with real people is appealing to you then you will love Samoa and especially the Orator Resort. The owners are on site and hands on with their customers. The gardens and the pool area were beautiful. The reception area was also lovely. Very boutique like. A hidden gem if you like. I also appreciated staying in a poolside villa due to the outlook. In addition it was very quiet. Very, very good value for money and would definitely stay here again. The staff are fantastic so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made the stay that much extra special. Villas are great but obvious that some works still being done on them. This did not distract from the relaxing stay. Will be fantastic once totally finished. Poolside villa was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was excellent. Nice and quiet and the elevated position makes it a bit cooler than in town. We will be back. Very courteous and helpful staff. Friendly staff Nice breakfast. Nice pool and spacious room. Housekeeping staff... Well one in particular, the brochure states you will get 4 bottles of water per day. The hot and humid climate requires that you drink water. Unfortunately, bottled water is expensive, so the Orator is offering a large savings to its clients. However this one housekeeper doesn't understand the concept of 4 bottles per day, everyday... The housemaids were intrusive. Could have more variety in the breakfast selection from day to day. Need to be aware of late comers to their villas and the noise they make disturbing others. buffet presentation and format could use some improvement. I asked for an early check in which they couldn't garantee. They suggested to book an extra night so when we arrived in the morning all the huts were empty so I don't understand why they couldn't give us an early check in:-(. Restaurant is cold and is unwelcoming. Would be good to have more tables outside and with a view of the pool or something - its weirdly set out. Orator is quite far from the main township - however taxis are pretty cheap. Strange vibe at the Orator - dont think we would stay here again.
